Over the last few nights, the actual park has been empty between 10 pm and 3 am. The checkpoints are really grilling the girls. I'm not sure what they are asking, but they are checking IDs, which is not a bad thing for us. The girls that are allowed through go right to the bars. They do have police posted in the park. So the girls are definitely either in the bars or on Calle 10.

Spent a few nights in Gustos this week. And please, I do not want to spark that debate again. You don't like Gustos? Fine, but for those that do, I found the talent to be better than ever. The majority of the girls are 8's and up. Just last night, I counted at least five 10's. And plenty of 9's. Of course, that's all subjective. But what I really enjoyed was the variety. My 10 may be your 8 or 9. What I noticed were a lot of 9's that had different looks. Dark skinned or light, blondes or dark hair, flacas or curvy. I pity the man that couldn't find "the one" there. Prices have increased to be certain. Looked like there were a lot of girls that wouldn't budge from their asking price. But there was a constant stream of couples exiting too. Each night, I was able to find the right one but they did make me go to my personal cap of 600 k.

Lleras Park was packed last night. I didn't find the environment appealing. Don't get me wrong, there are a few diamonds in there. But that feels like a place that you see the girl, you negotiate and you go. At least that seems like the girls attitude. Just not my style. Even if I wanted to chat with the girl, it's shoulder to shoulder, no seating available, etc.

Went into Glow for the first time. Got to say it has potential. I went in and they definitely pull off a high-end feel. I went in there really late. It was probably around 2:30. Decent crowd but I wasn't shopping at that point. Might stop by there tonight, only earlier.

It is the same with the hotels. There are guest friendly hotels but there are also a lot of hotels that do not allow guests or charge a high price for visitors.

You don't run into this issue as much in Thailand or the Philippines or even Mexico. But apparently it is an issue in Medellin.

Also much less an issue in Brazil it seems, at least as far as hotels (not AirBnBs) are concerned. Thirty years ago Brazil was awful in that respect, you could hardly find a single hotel that allowed guests in without a hefty joiner fee.

Centro is definitely not a point and click game. Even the casas require a time commitment to get the best experience.

Most guys who go to Centro and see all the undesirables as you described have a tendency to jump to the conclusion that anyone who partakes there is also an undesirable as well.

However I think it takes a lot of effort, versus a little effort to find what your looking for, the language barrier is huge, and probably the hardest part is that you need to spend lots of time on the ground there and be very patient to find the diamonds in the rough.

I have been exploring the listings of Abnb places in Medellin. There are quite a few that expressly say no sex tourism or "no hookers". It is a shame that a number of those places are very nice. A lot more places say that visitors are not allowed or the registered guests are allowed, meaning if you have a special girl. Medellin probably has more Abnb places with guest restrictions than other cities. There is definitely a lot of hosts who do not want the business of gringos engaged in mongering so be careful about reading the house rules when trying to book an Abnb place.

If you are a casa guy or El Centro streetwalker fan, it will not be a problem and there are a lot of great places that you can stay for a reasonable price. There are still a number of good places on Abnb that are guest friendly but I would say it is a minority of listings on Abnb.

It is even more of an issue in San Jose Costa Rica.

Even if the Airbnb says nothing about guests I would read the description of the unit and the other info in the listing. You may be in an apartment attached to the family home, for example. In that case one would reasonably refrain from having guests in. The safest bet is to ask the host before you book.

Last time I was in MDE I stayed at no doorman airbnb near Lleras and it was great I would just walk the girls back to my spot for fun.

This time I think I will stay away from the noise in a large building that checks all IDs and I will try to get most of my girls not from Lleras. But if I did want a Lleras girl and they don't have an ID where are the short time motels to go to that are close?

MiamiBoy is just being a ******* as usual. The fact of the matter is that- El Centro is the heart of Medellin and you can find people from all walks of life there. Wasting money just because you have it is stupid. Obviously, as he has proven time and time again with his arrogant posts, MB1 doesn't know the real Colombia, he stays in his plastic barrios fucking his plastic women that he overpays.

El Centro is much more than just Botero or Veracruz, it is the heart of the city where you can find anything your looking for whether that be bandeja paisa, paintings being sold by local artists, even shower heads and excellent quality knock off shoes. I myself like to sip on a 2 mil lemonade while sitting down and people watching.

As far as the prostitution goes sure there are a lot of undesirable hags in the Veracruz area but there are also beautiful, sweet diamonds in the rough to be found there, it just takes a little effort to find what you are looking for. To blow the whole place off is just asinine. But hey I guess if you've got "the coin" you can live in your own little arrogant world.

Cita means what you want it to, generally it means that you meet up for sex, any other activities will be up to you but it generally means at your place. Few Colombian girls will be talking to foreign men they've never met over the internet, those that do know what the score is.

Honestly, I wouldn't bother talking to them too much until you're in country or at least very close to it (I. E. You're sitting in the departure lounge and bored).

Colombianas live in the moment, at best they might make plans for the next few days, even then those plans are pretty far from solid. If she's asking if you want a cita, she means now-ish, as in she's bored and needs money today.

As a side note, if you've never been to Medellin, you should really read up on Colombian slang (Google is your friend here). This will really help with the language barrier,.

Tried it several years ago, so not sure this is helpful. But I left pretty disappointed.

I would recommend Happy Massage for what you're looking for. It is pricey, by Colombian standards, but has exactly what you are looking for. I've visited with all of the current girls and I don't think you can make a bad choice.

I went there a couple years back. It wasn't anyting speical like a second rate energy and not that organized. I actually got caught by my noiva at the time because I had "tantra medellin" in my most recent uber rides and I had a uber driver waiting of for me. He cancled the ride and I had to put an address in when my GF showed up and she grab my phone, typed and then giggle nervously. Later that night she revelaed and ya.
