Hello all, doing a tour of Colombia in June to get a feel for the place and see if I might want to spend more time there next year. I have experience mongering in SEA, Tijuana, and a couple other places. Excited to see how Colombia stacks up. Looking forward to trying the agencies, independents, spas and clubs. I'm headed to Bogota later this week, then Cartagena, and finally Medellin. I'll be staying at the Hotel Estelar Parque de la 93 for my time in Bogota, which from some of my prior research seems to be guest friendly and in a nice area.

That's all for now- I've lurked this forum for quite a while and absorbed a lot of the info here, so thank you, and hopefully I can contribute back with some of my own experiences shortly.

I would guess there's a pretty low risk of Eroticas chicas stealing or doing something to you. I think I know which boutique hotel you're talking about; it's all normal couples and youngish travelers. You won't see anyone else bringing pros in FYI. You'll be very close to the love motel neighborhood. It's fun to get a nice room with a sex chair, play the music as loud as you want, and keep your options open with civilians at your hotel.

I agree with other posters positive comments about the agency and photos but the ages and English ability listed on the website are not reliable. If you want an English speaking chica I would stick with the few "Ingles fluido" chicas or ask about your language options when you're booking the appointment.

You'd need to have serious game or luck to talk her into going out with you after your appointment the first night. Extending the cita is also putting her into a complicated situation with the agency if you don't want to pay her full rate. It seems unrealistic for the first night, I recommend finding a chica you connect with and then trying a longer date with her another night.

My ex-girlfriend is from Cartagena but lives in Bogota. Once I was commenting about her hair color. She said it is her natural hair color and that she is as white as snow and always have been. She does not like her dad because he is racist. She has a mixed kid.

I can tell you that Colombianas come in all shapes, sizes, and skin tones. I can also tell you this agency uses real photos. I think it's just the usual foul play that online escorts / brothels do when they touch up their photos. I'm planning on using Eroticas for the first time with Danna. She looks incredible on the site too, but I always anticipate some changes IRL.

An ISG member and I went down to the Primer de Mayo area and went to Angelo's. It's like going to Santa Fe and starting at La Piscina. IOW, it is the most upscale club in a bad neighborhood and they charge upscale prices. The other clubs had MUCH cheaper prices, and the competition was a lot less than Santa Fe. I think we went on a Friday night and often we were the only guys in a club. Still, I recall the prices we were quoted were as high if not higher than Santa Fe. The guys outside of the clubs were aggressive, maybe even more so than Santa Fe, but it was a touch scarier just because there were not as many people around. Maybe if I negotiated hard I could have gotten prices down, but I would have left my friend alone and I did not want to do that. Also, like most of the Santa Fe clubs I usually see only up to two women at most that I am interested in.

I cannot point to any one reason not to go to that area. I just did not feel as safe or comfortable there as in Santa Fe. There just seemed to be a lot of desperation and aggression in Primer de Mayo.

I will add one tidbit. There was one girl from SA I did not hook up but was interested in. I set her up with a friend of mine. I told him not to give her any money, but he did anyway and got ripped off.

One of the first things my gal asked her is where she was from, and my gal told me this other woman lived in a bad neighborhood. I did not get what she said at the time, but what she was saying is that the other woman, though beautiful, was lower class and was likely to engage in the lower class behaviors that she did. This may sound snobby, but this is how Colombians judge each other.

I hate to say Santa Fe is classy but it is a step up from Primer de Mayo. I do not know that there are more drugging's and robberies there than SF but I would expect that to be the case.

Not much as been written about the south other than Santa Fe strolls.

There are a whole bunch of clubs and casas marked out in primer de mayo area. Not much has been written about experiences in that place.

The overall area is south of Kennedy and near centro commercial plaza de las Americas. I know one of the long term residents of the thread, Frisky Frank made plans to check it out and contribute his insights and explorations. Wondering if anyone has updates or comments.

The street and club scene around 7 augusto (calle 67) is died out and barely there. Chapinero is primarily casa heaven.
