I am considering Jiron Zepita area within the historical district or in the Lince area. I could skip Miraflores and stay in both areas, but it would be a hassle getting to the tourist places. Also, what is the best taxi app for the city? Any help would be appreciated.

I used UBER, paying on avrg 10 Soles /$3 per ride. Very safe imo.

When I used to stay in Lima, I enjoyed Barranco directly to the south of Miraflores, overlooking the Pacific. There were plenty of nice restaurants and European style buildings there and could be lively on weekends. There are also some interesting be&be's and boutique hotels.

Don't come to Peru to monger, its got to be one of the worst destinations from a looks to price ratio.

I used SA exclusively and what is immediately apparent is the lack of girls over 8 in quality, which you can check for yourself.
