Took the crap Mash from Nairobi to Kampala. Over 6 hour late arrival and harassment at the border for no reason. Because I arrived so late, my plans were thrown off.

I went to Acacia Mall for the main purpose to go to the ATM. Couldn't find the Standard Chartered Bank One because I don't have my SIM yet, so I was flying blind. I went to the rip-off to the far left on the three on the ground floor. The rate was trash. $10 difference for only 500 k ugx and I know my bank it going to hit me with fees and another exchange rate hit. Going to wind up with an almost 30% loss. Makes me not want to even monger in this shithole. I'm already over it.

I did the same mistake first time. Took that shitty bus from Nairobi to Kampala totally mood killer. Got sick for next 2 days.

Kampala pollution didn't help either.

This time again I am planning Tanzania Kenya Uganda For whole December. I'll be only flying. Only mineral water and good hotel with AC.

I want to be in my prime mood to enjoy local beauties.

My Afrointroduction Is blowing up. Second time I am not gomma repeat my mistakes.

I booked a decent place here on airbnb for after Christmas into January: Kololo Hill Drive, Kampala, Central Region, Uganda.

Hilltop universal residency

The host told me guests are fine. 10-15 minute walk to Arcadia mall. I couldn't find anything better closer to the mall. Hoping the location isn't too much a hinderance.

Ran about 75 a night plus fees. If anyone has thoughts on location let me know.

Most probably people will be polite because they get the rent. What they really think or talk among themselves I don't know.

In a private place I once had a friendly host so I wanted to be the good tourist and only smuggled in a girl when he was off. Of course the next day he knew everything from the guard. He did not talk to me specifically about my female guest but told me about the many infections in Uganda.

First Timer read the posts by PorkJoint and Incrociatore long after Covid had started. Daytime rely on dating sites otherwise it is a question of luck. For Airbnb Kololo Nakasero or Entebbe can be the choice.

I plan to go to Uganda next month as a first timer for 2 weeks. I wanted to know what area should I get my airbnb, which is close to nightlife, good food places, and where alot of the women are for day / night game. I am a long time south america traveler but have never been to Africa because of the long flight time. You all here have convinced me so I thank you. I know that question may have been answered but it was answered around covid time. I know things may be different now. Thank you to all. Tinder is very easy here. Hundreds of likes in a week without doing any swiping. I met up with one girl and spent the whole night with her (for free). This took some work though — I had to dance with her at the clubs in Kololo for a few hours before bringing her back to my hotel.

Some tinder matches were upfront with wanting money in exchange for coming over and fucking. Most will quote an absurd amount like $220 k. I would tell them 60 k and they would come down. Some wouldn't and would tell me to fuck off. I sessioned with one tinder girl for 120 k. She was intelligent, good in bed, and good looking. Did I get ripped off? Almost certainly. It seems that the going rate is 60 k, but the scene on tinder is dependent on how well you can negotiate.

I didn't approach any girls at the bars because I was with my first tinder match (the non P4 P one). So no idea what the going rate is in any of the clubs. Walking through the clubs, lots of girls were looking at me. I want to believe it's because I'm good looking, or maybe they saw me as a walking paycheck, or maybe they just want to try out a white guy? Idk. I wasn't in Kampala for long enough to find out.

Been in Kampala a couple of days in Acasia mall area but my guest house isn't GF. Would appreciate any pointers from senior members here for a budget hotel or Airbnb around $15-$20 ish a night, the quieter the better.

I have noticed little reporting or maybe disinterest from mongers about reporting on Entebbe while I have recently found it full of easy going girls offering all a man would wish to get an African woman.

The two MP I tried did not disappoint.

Check at an MP at Hill Ln just next to K hotels. Juliette will never disappoint. FS for 100 K is reasonable.

Another one is located here. Called Lollipop MP with only Banyarwanda girls. Slim, soft bodies and offering full service. You should be a skilled negotiator to lower the price.

Overall, there is plenty of MP in a quiet Entebbe and if you have enough time, you'll never regret the adventure.

Almost got in two accidents with the same driver. He was totally nut!

I talked with a bodaboda driver in Kampala. He told me there's about 3000 people with knee injuries a year hospitalized in Kampala. Walk and base yourself in different quarters. Monger locally in your quarter. I walked a couple of times all the way from Kabalagala to CBD. What you can do on Saturdays and Sundays traffic is comparable light to take a taxi to CBD. During business days. Forget it. That's the way Kampala is set up. Anybody who has been during a weekday in Old Taxi Park knows what I m taking about. I had 2 close calls with a boda in Entebbe in 2020. It rains frequently. When the roads are wet it's slippery. Even at low speed everybody is cutting corners. . Walk or take a taxi. I heard of a guy got himself killed taking a boda with his suitcase to the airport. A truck run over him. Are. I. P.

Safe Boda I used a couple of times. At least they provide a helmet. Which is standard for the passenger I'm Rwanda. Not in Uganda.

Taking bodas is cheap but a test of courage. Me took the risk frequently going from center to Kabalagala, Acacia and Arena. Once I was simply lucky. My knee hurt 2 days. One can lose his leg in episodes like this. It is not so much about speed which you can tell the driver to reduce. But the streets are packed with bodas that they crash into one another.

It's actually 17 years in prison of you succeed to aid an abortion. The girl goes free, the docter goes free but YOU aiding might result in the full sentence I suppose. Obviously never ever do this, it's the easiest scam a wg can pull on you.

My host told me you can get in trouble even if you just get pregnant a girl. I don't know if it's true, but he told me that if the girl is pregnant there is a risk you'll get detained in the country. People here told me it's not true, but after reading your story, I think it might be true as well.
