So I tried adding someone off JK Forum on Line. In Hsinchu I messaged her and she kept giving some weird feeling. She asked me to go to an hotel / apartment complex. I asked if she'd meet me in public but she kept being super strange and sort of lying about meeting in public. She sends me photos of the the hallway she lives in with directions to her door. Super weird vibes, but I was kind of going along with it until she told me to get a key out of her mailbox and go through this apartment complex. At this point I tell her no way, this feels to shady (she wouldn't send good verification photos.) I messed up big time buy using my Line with my face and name. She said she'd post my photo on FB. Once a bad act shows their true colors, back off completely. Refuse any further communication. The connection will die as they find someone else more hopeful to scam. Never pay a scammer. Once they sense your vulnerability, by you paying, they will consider you a viable option in the future. A clean break is necessary. Never try to assuage them or to appeal to their sense of integrity. They have no scruples.

Thanks for the tips. I ended up staying in Taoyuan near the train station. The short version: didn't find much, but average looks for a good price. Conversely in Taipei I got not young, but good looking for what was likely far too much money. I blame that partly on bad currency conversion in my head and partly going along with when I felt like I was being scammed. Long version follows.

I looked for Beauty Alley in Taoyuan near the temple but I ended up going the wrong way and finding a few massage places that were either closed or not appealing. It was after midnight so I think most places were already closed. Walked around a bit and on a more main street I found one place with an attractive looking lady in a nice dress lounging on a couch, she saw me stop and look in and got up and ran to the door. Asked her how much and she said 1300. I assumed this was just for the massage but it turned out to include the HJ. She was a little on the chubby side, but allowed full roaming, so I wonder if more might have been on offer. She was disappointed I didn't have Line on my phone, she wanted me to add her so I could teach her english, though her english wasn't too bad already.

The next day I went into Taipei and went to Longshan. Wandered around a little bit and a block away from the night market I saw a very attractive likely-40's spinner in a nice dress. Asked her how much and she said 1000. She didn't speak much english so I wasn't sure if this was just for a massage as it sounded too cheap. She took me into a building hallway with some restaurants, and went into a tiny little room with a small couch in it and a sliding door separating it from the hallway. Then the shakedown began. She stepped out and an old lady came by and offered me a hot towel. Then asked for a tip. My girl game back and said to give her 300 NTD. I did. Then she asks me for 2000 more for HJ. I agree. She starts giving me a little bit of a shoulder massage, then starts rubbing my crotch and asks what I want. I say FS and we agree on 5000 total and she moves the table to block the door. We play around a little bit for a minute or two, then when I try to make a move she stops me and says "not here" and points up. Then she asks me for 2000 more for the room. I give it to her, she takes the money, comes back after a minute and takes me upstairs to an apartment. She gives me a quick shower then we move to the bed. She takes her clothes off and doesn't look quite as good out of the dress as she did in it, but still not bad. She proceeds to fake giving me a BJ using her hand at which point I think I'm getting scammed. After a minute or two of this, she puts on a condom and we proceed to real FS. No scam after all, except on price. Afterwards she complements me on my size and asks if I want to go again. I said no, afraid she would ask for more money. Not that I had the energy after getting busy in an un-airconditioned apartment in 30 C+ weather. She told me she was from Taiwan and she spoke Mandarin with a Taiwanese accent so it may have been true. She gave me her WeChat and I paid her the agreed amount, and she asked me for another 1000 for a tip which I gave her since I was headed for the airport next and didn't need cash anymore. Total damage 9000. Probably won't contact her again as I'm sure I can do better for the money. On the way out she took me out an alley which was full of girls waiting by doorways, some of whom were much younger and arguably more attractive. Guess I know where to go next time.

I am assuming that the 9000 was spent in and around the Huaxi tea rooms? And not the Kangding / Xichang area?

Unfortunately, because of your first-time status, they were able to run their racket. In my first outings in the Huaxi tea rooms, I was targeted and relieved of my cash also.

But, for next time, in either the location, the prettiest young girl never exceeds 2000. And, Huaxi can be had oftentimes for 1 K, and the the happy average for almost everyone is 1500.

But, how were you to know? And, you did better in the Taoyuan area by the temple. There, also 2 K is tops. Taiwan street action is between 1000 to 2000, because of the brevity of the affair.

When going to Taoyuan or Keelung, I never bike the entire distance from Taipei. I take the "very cheap & very efficient" railway service. In fact, I buy the new monthly $1200 NT T-Pass. You get unlimited bus and MRT rides and it now extends to Taoyuan and Keelung for no extra charge. You get 30 minutes YouBike free within Taipei and in Taoyuan, you get up to an hour of bike usage.

When I am in certain mongering areas that cover the distance of many streets and enclaves, I ride a bike to explore my options and do surveillance. A couple of times, I parked my bike right in front of the "spa," for want of a better word, did my "thing" and left.

Taoyuan, I find to be the least predictable, and service and time varies vastly from girl to girl. But, I still like to go for the sake of variety.

I met that nasty girl in Taoyuan against my better judgement. Well, the head in my pants took control. She was young and cute, but she had a vicious, hateful disdain-for-mankind snarl on her face. I thought I could turn her around, but I only fueled her anger, as she unleashed her bottled up rage. She had cool tattoos and was a gang girl. I usually never meet up with her type.

I was in the area of the Taoyuan Train Station. Went to visit the Taoyuan Jingfu Temple. I love places of worship of every sort. (except ones devoted to human and animal sacrifice) (that clarification was surely not necessary. Just an attempt at a joke, from a not so funny guy).

Sorry for the digression. As temples go, I find this one simply spectacular. Extremely clean and welcoming, very godly, conducive to prayer and meditation, very traditional, amazing architecture and extremely ornate. You are allowed to light incense, unlike the Taipei temples, nowadays.

In the back of the temple and on the sides are many roads like: Bo'ai, Minsheng, Minquan, Mitzi, Taoyuan with the sad remnants of a once thriving monger culture.

I got a bike at the Main Station and just rode around the area for a while. Stuck my head in places, asked a few questions.

Eventually was running out of time, and I had to choose or go home. So, I chose. She was a Viet, 30's, pretty. Made a deal for 1 k, 40 minute massage with an he. Massage was not bad. Relaxed me well enough. She brightened up and smiled more as our time rolled on. I was gearing up for being held hostage for a tip, whilst naked on the table with no bargaining leverage whatsoever. But, it never happened. She kept her word.

These are mostly run-down shops of yesteryear, somehow remaining open, but not very busy. In the area, full service runs about 1. 5 with a decent looking lady. To expect a good service as a middle-aged (friendly) man as me. Here in HCMC, the only question I ask the lady is if I can "kiss" all over as I enjoy doing that and most times the answer is yes but.

The actual action is limited to just a few seconds. I would love to be able to find a "GFE-like" type of service where the lady stays for an actual 1 whole hour or ever better, overnight.

For the street scene, the prices are already so low at between 1 k to 1. 5 k.

You might deduct down a bit, she might not be happy and diminish services. But, if she is not up to snuff or if I want limited services and I see no inventory is moving, I might bargain. But, then. They will usually sweet talk me into a tip to get them back to their original price.

And, I just remain rather chipper, lightheartedly, and take a stroll and try and revive, breathe fresh life into these alleys of pleasure that once thrived.

I expect nothing, and make a concerted effort to enliven these sessions by addressing my partner with absolute respect and honesty so that she is willing to make these few moments matter. I implore her to be the best that she is capable of being. With most girls, they respond positively. I mean, I am older than them, and my experience and seniority comes into play. Late at night in lonely places, I always feel safe. Safety is the basic part of the structure that is always there, even though inventory dwindles. At least your mind is not concerned for safety, so you can focus all your attention on the deed at hand.

"I've been working on the railroad." (inspired by my recent trip to the Keelung shacks by the tracks).

Well, me and Longshan (more correctly, Longshan and I) have no chemistry recently. It just lacks the right flavor. I just can't vibe right with it recently.

So, I made the trip to the port town of Keelung via railroad where life is happy all the time. (not really, but I am feeling poetic).

Hit the shack stroll and unfortunately, not very vibrant. As rundown and debilitated, dilapidated as ever. Most doors are in lockdown. But, there were some choices. I did scour the area pretty long. Narrowed the search. There were a handful that suited my taste.

I chose one, not necessarily on pure looks and age, but demeanor, sincerity of smile, humility, and a very lovely fit concave abdomen. (flat stomach means a lot to me).

From the get go, she was so very pleasant, sweet and courteous, like picking up a nice girl in front of her parent's house on a first date. (Am I okay? I even shocked myself with that last sentence).
