Is it worth my time travelling all the way to Pattaya or her town Siracha for a date and returning back to Bangkok in the evening? Not sure if boom boom is on the table.

Of course you should try Beach Road! It's an eye opener. If there weren't so many ladyboys on Beach Road I'd be more open to it. It's the first thing I did in Thailand. Walked along Beach Road from Soi 7 to Walking Street. Went to Sapphire and Windmill and Beach Road became non-existent for me.

Remember when Soi 7 and 8 were good guys? There were gems galore in 2015 and 2016. I miss that. Then the ladyboys took over and now it's more or less dead.

Strolling Beach Road was a good way to mix up my activities, and you can't beat the price and simplicity. I was pleasantly surprised by the looks, though I did have to be selective. I wouldn't make it the core of my trip activities, but especially if you are staying nearby why not give it a try? Sort of like a Pattaya rite of passage.

I am joining the list of those applauding your excellent reports on CGs. I tried several of them last October (and return in a few weeks) and my preference was High Rollers which I don't think was on your list but its almost next door to Maggie Mays (which I found too small). Whilst HRs is more expensive that the others I felt it showed. Two floors, two excellent standard pool tables and quality of the girls was good though that is obviously transient. The topless pool players in CT sounds fun. Need to try that! Did you go to Passion in Jomtien?

Based on your experiences of trying so many, I would be really interested to know what your listing of your top three would be and reasons for those choices.

Thanks, PFI. It is really hard to rank them, since they are so different in their setting and atmosphere; I am glad that I saw a nice range. Another factor is the number of girls available, and because I went early to some they were pretty depopulated. And naturally I liked best the ones where I had the best sessions, which is really dependent on the luck of the draw with the lady and our chemistry.

That said, my favorite for facility plushness was probably Catflaps (some of the small Bong Koch places hold their own despite their size), my most fun bawdy atmosphere was Cameltoe, LaPoste, and Excite (tie).

I do regret I never got to any of the stand alone villa type places in Jomtien like Passion, or even to any place on Soi Boomerang, but I just ran out of time!

I would not really consider it an "experience. " If you are going to Walking Street you can just go from your hotel, walk over to Beach Road and then head down. Can just look for girls along the way. Not sure about your standard but I do not think girls along that road are good looking. If you find a girl that you think is alright then I would just take her because it does not get better.

No such thing as low cost and quality.

What about all the Gaito girls in Ho Chi Minh for $10 to $20 US? What about all the Jakarta clubs that charge under 400,000 rupiah? No quality at any of those?

No one is forcing anyone to go to or remain in Thailand. Not like Vietnam is expensive to get to and stay. 25 USD for eVisa if one is needed at all, $100-150 US round trip flight. Hotels at $20 US per night in a prime location. Taxis dirt cheap.

You know Soi 6 has been shit starting maybe 2018. You have to walk up and down that Soi many times to find anyone remotely close you want to go with.

One of the best things about Flipper Lodge's location, besides the great sunset views, was the easy access to the nightly Beach Road freelancer market. I made the stroll most nights, even when I was not looking for company either worn out from the day or just wanting to get back to my room to relax just to check out the scene.

You know you are spending too much money in GCs when investor pitches for new bars mention you by name.

Some GCs on Soi Chaiyapoon have 1,000 baht LT barfines.

If you want to avoid paying that, you can wait until the bar to close, and the lady to come visit you afterwards.

But sometimes the GCs don't close at 1 am if there are still customers in the bar. Or sometimes your honey will get barfined before the bar closes.

And I am not a big fan of starting the fun with a lady at 2 am. I generally pull the trigger much earlier in the evening.

I'm far too old to be starting at 2 am also but as some GCs end as early as 9 or 10 pm that would be fine to wait until then but then as you rightly say, very possible the girl will have found an alternative who is guaranteed as she is in his company and a 1000 bar fine is not at all unreasonable.
