You know you are spending too much money in GCs when investor pitches for new bars mention you by name.

Some GCs on Soi Chaiyapoon have 1,000 baht LT barfines.

If you want to avoid paying that, you can wait until the bar to close, and the lady to come visit you afterwards.

But sometimes the GCs don't close at 1 am if there are still customers in the bar. Or sometimes your honey will get barfined before the bar closes.

And I am not a big fan of starting the fun with a lady at 2 am. I generally pull the trigger much earlier in the evening.

I'm far too old to be starting at 2 am also but as some GCs end as early as 9 or 10 pm that would be fine to wait until then but then as you rightly say, very possible the girl will have found an alternative who is guaranteed as she is in his company and a 1000 bar fine is not at all unreasonable.

Is there any GC in Pattaya with karaoke? Lots of bars/clubs in BKK where you can go to play pool/darts/other games then have a bit of fun with karaoke before hitting the private room - great fun (e.g. Pimp/Elite/even Sena in Thaniya) but didn’t come across any last time in Pattaya with that fun twist. Think there is a video on YouTube of this in Amsterdam GC but its on Bong Koch 8 - bit far out of town and very small. Wondered if any of the main GCs have this?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to educate myself on the scene there, and the bar girl concept seems like a decent way to go.

Any recommendations in Pattaya for some lower bar fines, but good quality of women? Is waking street pretty much the only play?

I know there are freelancers, and I'm sure I'll try that as well, but I don't want to overspend before we even leave the bar.

Any advice is appreciated.

No such thing as low cost and quality.

Fat, old and ugly is what you get when go go 1,000 any kind of time. Long, short, medium. It don't Matter.

Also. As some of the GCs close early. Why would you bar fine rather than come to an arrangement with the girl to meet you outside later? I suppose if you are a regular at these clubs (and from your many posts in this thread that is entirely likely) you would not want to get yourself banned for avoiding a bar fine or two. But I would imagine many tourists would arrange to see a girl later without paying the barfine. Would still be interested to know what the rate is. Must be lower than agogos?

It depends on the bar.

But, when I barfine a lady, it's usually for Long Time. So I may pay up to 1,000 baht for the barfine.

I was in town a bit too soon for the openings of Eden Lounge (the daytime GC at Escape Agogo in Treetown) and, and for Buzzin Lounge GC on Soi Pothole, anyone have any reviews on these? I obviously see a lot about these on the YouTube and Discord channels connected with the proprietors, but I was wondering about any firsthand experiences.

I am joining the list of those applauding your excellent reports on CGs. I tried several of them last October (and return in a few weeks) and my preference was High Rollers which I don't think was on your list but its almost next door to Maggie Mays (which I found too small). Whilst HRs is more expensive that the others I felt it showed. Two floors, two excellent standard pool tables and quality of the girls was good though that is obviously transient. The topless pool players in CT sounds fun. Need to try that! Did you go to Passion in Jomtien?

Based on your experiences of trying so many, I would be really interested to know what your listing of your top three would be and reasons for those choices.

I would have done it. It is amazing what small gifts will do for a Thai ladies sex drive. I picked up a Thai lady in a bar in Hua Hin last year. While I was sitting there with her, an old lady came by selling lottery tickets. So I spent 100 baht on a lottery ticket for her. Her enthusiasm level increased 1000%. Well worth the 100 baht.

Another "don't":

If you barfine a lady long time, don't let her take you to another bar on the way to your hotel. Bargirls will only take you to 1 of 2 kinds of bars:

#1: bars where ladies go to find customers. If you already have a lady, these places are usually boring.

#2: bars where the bargirl has friends, and she will hound you to buy them drinks.

If you must go to a bar with your bargirl, you pick the bar.
