There are two sides to the privacy debate and laws in most countries deal with it this way: (1) anything in a public place. The street / the highway / the beach, is public and therefore not private. (2) indoors, on private premises, in gardens, patios, private swimming pools, people have a reasonable expectation of privacy and so filming "inside" is an infringement of private life.

So getting filmed walking around the streets of Bangkok / Pattaya / or anywhere else in the World is a risk married / partnered mongers take. And in any event why is it such a big deal then to be filmed walking around Nana plaza "I just wanted to see what all the fuss is about baby" would be a reasonable answer. It's not like the filming is of you doing DATY! So whilst I might not like that these people do this (I don't care if its for money or not), there is nothing wrong with it in a public place (subject to the caveat below).

Back in Thailand after about ten months.

I had been travelling in two other countries for a week before arriving here and it's just a breath of fresh air being here.

I arrived fairly late so didn't do anything the first night.

My first actual day, I had an appointment in the morning for a back treatment in Asoke, after that I went to the T21 food court and pigged out. Two dishes, coffee and water for 100 baht, man you can't beat the value of LOS.

Can't say I really recommend Wood Bar, but it got the job done for what I needed at the time.

The girls, go go and beer bars, should know a nearby short time spot if there is one. Thermae is right under a hotel so that's the easiest spot to take them too but yea you can also take them to your hotel if its not too far. All the ladies I've taken from Thermae they ask where it is first before agreeing to go w / me.

The reason I'm so picky about where we go is I've had some times where I've stayed in 1 room for a 5-6 day romp and after about the 3rd day after numerous girls the bed that I end up sleeping on is usually also covered in cum, lube, spit, perfume, ass, etc etc so I like to have a 2 bed room. As of last week I still get fairly demonstrative winks, smiles and subtle "come over" hand gestures from girls sitting or standing outside of, oh, about 1/3 of the karaoke venues on Thaniya Road. Not exactly cat calls. But fairly obvious interest in my patronage. As a 70 year old white guy. But zero from the ones that are presumably more Asian-centric. Or, possibly, the reluctance to behave that way toward a white guy carries with it the risk of negative response from the potential Asian customers witnessing it. Or, for that matter, even vaguely acceptable sex with any girl at any of those venues somewhat comparable to a middling experience one could scored anywhere else for 1200 baht, 2500 baht or for Nana Plaza ladydrink, barfine and girl's fee prices.

In which case, paying only 100 baht to sit in a room singing "My Way" to the hottest babe in the most exclusive Asian-centric karaoke venue on Thaniya Road would be a waste of 100 baht and an hour of my time. As well as do nothing for that poor girl's ears and sense of music appreciation.

Of course, I would be interested in finally reading a winning contrary testimonial re sex with those girls if anyone has one to share.

What attracts me of that road is not the karaoke, which I hate, but the scenario of having 30 girls sitting outside and being able to choose without going into a club with music noise and drinks. So for me the question is: is there a similar place without the karaoke part?

The area around Grace in Soi 3-5 is an Arab popular place, lot of eat outs and shops are Arab too. You will see lot of hotel guests as them. Given the DXB vibe, I guess that's where you will find the most Stanis. I have seen some EE and Stanis in some 5 stars (JW, Anantara specifically) but choices might be fewer and prices higher.

I have not seen a white girl hooking anywhere near the grace hotel in years.
