If you're in Colombia, or undoubtedly in any of the cities listed, just go to a mall, walk down the street, or stop by a church. You'll see plenty of beautiful women. If you have a conversation, you have a chance for a date. If you have a date, you have a chance.

Hookers are still out there in the same numbers, however, the game has changed. If you have a cellphone, tablet or computer, you have everything you need to change right along with it.

Nah you can't deny that quality has taken quite a hit over the last few years. I don't believe that it's because of rich oil sheiks buying up all girls LOL, although there's some truth there of course, mobility has gone up so girls can easily travel to Dubai and make 10 x more than what they make in Medellin.

But the MAIN reason is much simpler: Onlyfans. This platform is at least partly the problem. Normally one of the biggest factors determining your salary is the country you're in. A top doctor in Medellin doesn't even come close to what a top doctor in Dubai makes, just because they're working in different countries. However Onlyfans totally changed this, all of a sudden it doesn't matter anymore if you're from Dubai or Medellin, the hotter you are the more you make. This trip was so odd. I had been in Bogota the first weekend of August and it followed the standard Santa Fe routine. Street girls, club girls, street girls and done. All good.

Medellin, for whatever reason, became the "novia GFE" trip.

Night 1 - Saturday the 19th. Walking from Lleras toward Calle 10, met a long black haired beautiful semi-indigenous looking girl. All in, she asked for zero money, which was odd, but I gave her $170 k, plus bought food and drinks. The fare to Poblado from the airport is set out on the big sign on the wall where you get the white taxi. It says "98 pesos". Always good to confirm with the driver but so far they all have complied with the posted fare.

They are not hard to avoid. They are only a nuisance most of the time. As mentioned, they regularly have bad interactions with locals and with each other. There is a younger contingent that hangs out in the bars behind the church doing tusi and coke.

Airport taxi is a bit higher. Normal rate used to be 80 k-100 k to Laureles or El Plobado but now min is 120 k. Some wanted 150 k.

I was getting the same error on my last trip, but I was using the Frequent Traveler option like Fun Luvr mentioned. I didn't use that option and then tried another computer with another browser. That worked, but I don't think I had to use a different computer or browser.

I'm back in Bogota and had no issues using my iPhone the other day. Didn't use Frequent Traveler either.

Apparently they have not worked out all the bugs since they transitioned and changed the Platform several months back as for whatever reason my frequent traveler info wasn't transferred over and I had issues last month with Check Mig but got around it.

The most likely cause is a temporary web server outage. Checkmig sits behind the Colombia immigration website's WAF. Try again later.

It's been a while since I've done devops type work but it could be geo tied load balancer leads to a bad server / site. Maybe try bouncing off a VPN in Colombia? Failing that maybe try rebooting and using an incognito tab.
