My local source (who lives in Piter) didn't inform me about police crakdowns recently, old school chains like FrauM, Modeli and Pride are still active, like they have been for years. But a while ago he said something about few salons which closed, I don't remember that exact reason but he thinks that the owners didn't pay the vzyatka to their respective krishas, which is suicidal for any business. Actually the prices are up if we are talking RUB. In St. Petersburg the average would be around 6000 Rub and up nowadays.
