I've been to Thailand several times. I've noticed that many Thai ladies have something the shape of chapstick that they put up to their nose and sniff. For some it seems like it is an addiction. What exactly is that stuff?

I bought one in the stick form and the herbal inhaler in a small squat bottle. Says on the bottle: "To USE: Relief and ease the nasal congestion of flu". Some strong smells can hit you here. And you can use them to refresh from that shock. Air pollution is bad at times here.

Located just below the Asok bts station, at the entrance of soi 14.

Nothing fancy, just a typical Thai restaurant.

They serve good food, but it can be crowded at times.

Ok place, bit overpriced, but location, location.

Does anyone have suggestions for decent Thai food near the Nana area? One thing I love about traveling to Thailand is their delicious food.

Not exactly Nana but just a 5 to 10 minutes walk from there.

Believe it or not, Thermae have some decent Thai food

Haven't had it since pre COVID but Thermae has good pad ka prao. Sometimes I ordered fries there too and they are always crispy. The fries are fun cause the girls would come to me and steal some.

For Thai food just see where all the Thai girls are lining up. Then you know it'll be good.

You going to get some arguments, but in my humble opinion, there is no super great Thai food in the Nana area. The seafood is overpriced by the way. I tend to eat on Soi Arab, Scherezade is good, so is Bamboo. Margarita storm for Mexican. Believe it or not, Thermae have some decent Thai food as does Nana. I prefer to go down to Phra Kanong, Phrom Pong or Silom or Yaowarat.

I'd get a cheapie in America. I'd ask friends or family is any has an old phone they don't use anymore and buy that cheap.

Thanks for the idea. I did just what you said. A friend is dropping off his old phone for us to use for a month tomorrow for the cost of a lunch.

I need to keep my SIM and use it via Internet while overseas. Is it easier to purchase a cell phone (used and unlocked) while in the USA and take it to Thailand or purchase one for use in Thailand? Knowing what type of phone is needed for service in Thailand is also appreciated. Thanks.

You did not say in what part of Thailand you will be in. Does your carrier not have service in Thailand? If so, why would you need another phone. If not, then you could just switch SIMs when you leave the room. You did not give enough information of what you are trying to accomplish.
