You can learn a lot as a tourist. I know I sure have.

I like my breakfast and their are plenty of restaurants that serve a good one. Nest on Soi Diana and I-Rover on LK metro are some of my favorites. Both are close to 169. Seems like that price is play on something. Very close to Terminal 21 is a great German restaurant that has 295 special with more food than you should eat in one sitting for 295. Korean BBQ, Thai BBQ, Chinese Noodles, Japanese Ramen place with an hour wait on the weekend now that it is high season. So much for the people who say high season is not ramping up. Used to always be able to just walk in a get a table.
There are great hamburgers here and French Fry's. In fact, there is a place that serves a great hamburger with chips. They serve three different versions (chicken, vegetable and beef). One of which is Australian beef. Australian beef is far superior to beef from the (Dis) United States of America. If you go on Tuesday their burgers are on special. The place is right on a baht bus line in Jomtien.
At Terminal 21 there is Pier 1. Nothing wrong with that food court. My girlfriend and I eat there all the time. It is are fall back place when she does not want to cook. But her preparation of Thai food is far superior to any Thai restaurant I have eaten in since I have been here. She makes a soup that I like with WAY more flavor in it than the same type I order from Pier 1.
There is a Japanese Beef Bowl place right next to Pier 1 that if off the mother fucking chain good. They also prepare their bowls with Australian beef and pork. The meat melts in your mouth.
I do not skimp on food (even though I know where I can by a meal for 99). I stay where I am comfortable. I take the Bhat Bus and Bolt not because of economics, it is because I don't like to drive. I prefer to pay 1000 for pussy and save the money others pay 2000,3000, 4000,5000 to spend on myself and my girlfriend. Full set of bedding for a King Size bed is 1500 and it will last for 10 years if you care for it correctly. I barely even touched on all the different types of food I enjoy in Pattaya.
To each their own.

Posts: 2642I was always told the Ice with the Hole is the "safe" ice. But I reckon alot has to do with how the ice is handled.

I can count at least 2 times in recent years I have been badly intoxicated because of the ice. The first time I'm sure the ice was the small pieces, second time I don't know which ice she used to make the Watermelon smootie.

I would have thought you have no worries since you pay more for your "attractive" prostitutes. You mean you are saying that you can pay the money that you do and still get "burnt while you are up in it"?

Posts: 6685Since when is child support not intended to support the child?
Are you really going to make the intellectually dishonest argument that if a man is sending money to the mother of his child (without court order) that it is not child support?
Stealing is Stealing. You are not going to get any argument with me over that.
My point is that some (and you can include yourself in this statement if you want but it is not directed at you) from the Western world hold others to standards that are not met in their own country. In my country of origin there is not requirement that court ordered child support is spend on a child. Are you going to make the argument that because individual amounts are not dictated by the court that the court does not intend for the fund to be used in their entirety for the benefit of the child?
A Mother is held to the same standards as trustee. If your are the court ordered guardian of a child you have a fiduciary responsibility to use the funds designated for that child in that manner or face legal repercussions. Child support (court ordered or not) is not held to the same standards.
It is the principle of the matter and you are playing your usual semantic games that you play in your replies to my posts. Different is I'll point them out when you reply to me directly.

Posts: 451Ice Woes. There really isn't any.
Many places have Ice Delivery by an outside vendor. Can there be contamination. Sure.
But I'm sure that places that buy ice aren't having customers die en masse because of dirty ice.
Even the dirty street Vendor has Clean ice.
What you should be worried about is high rate of STDs in Pattaya. Hahaha. Buzzin even did a Video the other day.

Posts: 18164But we are not talking about child care payments. My friend supports his child without any court order and even lets the child's mother live in his condo. He had these particular funds marked for a specific thing.

Posts: 109I think his comment about the broth was more about the amount of spice in the broth especially after you get done doctoring it up. I know I have a, uh problem, with too much chipotle seasoning so it stands to reason. I have considered that ice might not be something you want in your drink. I'm almost afraid to drink anything in Colombia, but ice isn't the worst concern. LOL.
