I want to thank all the forum members who promptly advised me and put my mind at ease. Based on the recommendations, I started PEP course after consulting with a Doctor on Practo.

During the PEP course period, I did not develop any kind of symptoms. However on the 21st day of the course, I delayed taking the pill by 10 hrs. Apart from this, there was no other problems during the course.

I booked an HIV Combo test using Dr Safehands and opted to visit their testing center. The test center asked to sign on a consent form. I received the reports within 48 hrs of testing and also received a call from their Doctor. He said that the result is normal. He also advised to repeat the test after 15 days or to go for an STD panel test in case of symptoms like rashes / buring sensation while passing urine.

I do not have any of the symptoms but I am having a sore throat and cold as soon as I completed my PEP. I hope this is to do with the change in weather and nothing serious. I am planning to go for an STD panel test to be assured and have mental peace.

I was very stressed the past 30 days and even more so during the HIV test process due to my sore throat. But now looking at the results, I feel a bit relieved.

I do not have any of these symptoms but I am suffering from a sore throat and nasal blockage (no fever) ever since my PEP got completed. I am assuming that this is due to change in weather and nothing serious. However, I am still planning to go for the STD panel test just to be sure and have mental peace.

Body flushing is a known symptom of these pills, but whether yours is related to that, I can't tell. These pills help by dilating the blood vessels and hence more blood might reach your tissues and hence flushing happens. This is also the reason why this pill is not recommended for those suffering from heart ailments or low BP.

Have never used these pills before, but from what I have read, these pills only work if your problem is physiological (mostly with older folks who have difficulty maintaining the erections due to poor health, poor blood circulation, etc. But if your problem is psychological (chronic stress, anxiety, excessive porn or masturbation problems), then these pills won't help you because the signals from the brain that are necessary for arousal never get there or are weak, so no amount of pumping pills is going to help.

Agree. I would have thought so since these side effects started after 18-24 hours and it was just half a pill. But the major symptom is body flushing. It has been warm. Feeling better now on 3rd day.
