Well being an American myself, I'm here to tell you that there's absolutely nothing unusual or "suspect" about that at all. Generally speaking, Sharks is a decent club. I met many Asians friends each time I visited. Overall they enjoyed their experience in Sharks. Some of them might have complaints but most likely related to communication issues with girls or surcharges. None of them were related to so called "racism".

Years ago in 2018 on a Sunday afternoon, I saw front desk lady yelled to a Japanese guy. The guy seemed to speak poor English so front desk woman tried to bully him and told him no way to find a parking if parking lot was full.
