Yea but did you hear how much time he was asking for? Odds are he was asking for an extended period of time if not an all nighter especially if he was in a cab trying to take a girl back to his place. If he was looking for a quick 40 k rato he wouldn't have been in the cab because he would have to get out anyway to go to the short time hotel with girl.

Obviously if you are taking the street girl back to your place for a longer period of time than the normal rato in the cheap hoteles then that is going to cost more than the 40 k pesos.

Doscientos mil was probably for all night or atleast for a cpl hours. Considering that it was almost 2 am when you left troya and witnessed this guy in the cab, I'm willing to bet the 200 k was probably for the remainder of the night until 6 am or so.

Well I just got back from my late night venture to Troya a few minutes ago. It ended up being a bust LOL. I knew things could be a bit dead, but it was super dead. Probably more girls than customers when I arrived around 12:35 am'ish. I ended up getting a few dances, but around 1:50 am the dj stopped playing music although they didn't say they were closing early (they're supposed to be open until 3 am). I waited around for another 5 minutes to see if the music would start back up or if any of the few girls still around would come back around to maybe grab one, but the dj didn't start back playing music and none of the few girls that I knew to still be there came back around aside from the one that was with a customer already chatting. So I bounced and just decided to call it a night.

My past few days in Bogota has gone good. This past Friday being a holiday things were definitely rather slow in the zona and in the area around the Tequendama Hotel where a lot of the regular businesses were closed. This Friday 12/8 I ended up doing a freelancer early in the afternoon. Walking around in the afternoon in the zona there were certainly still enough freelancers to find something to suit your taste. Later I hit up Troya around 12 - 12:30 am. For a Friday it was definitely slower than a normal Friday, but there were ample girls around just a lot less customers than a normal Friday. I will say though that I certainly recognized a lot of the talent from my last trip in early / mid Sep 2023 so there doesn't appear to have been that much turnover of talent.

Saturday 12/9 was more or less a repeat of Friday. The area as a whole both around the Tequendama Hotel as well as in SantaFe was more alive than it was on Friday. Again I ended up finding some street feelancer earlier in the afternoon and then later Saturday night I went back to Troya yet again LOL. I mentioned in on my previous trip which was my first to Colombia I liked Troya better than the other clubs so it's been hard for me to branch back to the others although I'll certainly plan to hit up them before I leave on 12/17. The crowd in Troya on Saturday was a lot more lively and crowded than Friday. Not as crowded as some of the nights I visited during my Sep trip. Much like Friday I still recognized a lot of the talent from my last trip a few who weren't there Friday.

Sunday 12/10 I was planning to do more of the same of finding a freelancer early and then hitting up a club early, but I ended up scrapping those plans. I did go out to the zona in the afternoon and picked up a freelancer, however, I didn't go back out Sunday night and just rested up back at the hotel. When I went out looking for a freelancer it was pretty dead in the zona. Sundays I know are usually pretty slow anyways and this was definitely a rather slow day. There were still ample freelancers around, but the overall amount of foot traffic out and about was pretty minimal.

So far today I've again gone out and found a freelancer to partake of some afternoon / early evening action and I'm planning to go back later tonight to some club. Maybe Troya again maybe not LOL I'll play it by ear.

A few other tidbits. I know there has been some mention of safety. I haven't felt unsafe in the zona so far and I've exclusively been on foot walking to and from the Hotel Tequendama to the zona. Even very late a night (I don't recommend doing this willy nilly if you're not used to walking around cities / urban areas late nights). There has been a police presence as there usually is in the zona. I'd say it's slightly more or a presence than my Sep trip. The biggest difference I've seen is that there has been the big police van / truck (kind of like the big police operations type you see in movies) which I didn't see previously in addition to the smaller police vans and police on motorcycles. I've also seen a few instances of police seeming to be stopping people in cars.

One other thing about that check mig. I flew united both this trip and my last trip so I had to fill it out before takeoff based on their procedures. I didn't have any of the issues I see being reported about it. Although in both cases I merely followed the link from the united website inside the 72 hour window to the check mig website and filled everything out and it was accepted and completed without issue. I also should mentioned both times I filled it out on a desktop pc using the latest version of the chrome web browser. On both my trips though nobody in Colombia actually asked to see the paper check mig stuff.
