I haven't paid more than 1200 for short time with most girls accepting 1000. Majority start at 1500 for ST and 2500 for LT. I did get the occasional 2000 or 3000 for ST and 4000-5000 LT. I just stop responding and don't negotiate. One girl told me they will accept 1000 if you are close to them and the taxi ride is not expensive. They have been extremely punctual which surprised me. How can we answer these questions when we don't know what your plan of attack is for Pattaya? I guess the biggest clue in your question is you do not want to expensive so by that Walking Street gogo bars are likely out of your equation. So pick something near Soi 6, or Soi 7/8, or along Beach Road, or Treetown, or Myth Night Plaza, or along Soi Buakhao, or Soi 25 and meet up with Explorer.

Only you can answer your own question. We have no clue where you want to find girls in Pattaya and what your budget for girls and room are. For starters, read the Pattaya hotel thread as Explorer so eloquently directed you to.

Yes there is always a possibility Songkran gets cancelled or shortened in Thailand due to water rationing. I know water pressure was decreased at my condo right before I left in March. No idea if this has anything to do with water rationing or something else.

It would take a lot to shut down Songkran in Pattaya. That would not be good for future tourism every April. However, pretty sure most people go to Hua Hin to relax and not for Songkran.

First timers benefit from staying within 1,000 meters of Soi Myth Night, which you can find on Google Maps. That's between the beach on the west and Third Road on the east. Between, Central Pattaya Road on the north, and Soi 13 on the south. Go to the forum dedicated to Pattaya Hotels. Go back 50 pages and read forward. You'll find a handful of hotels that are mentioned over and over. Whitehouse, Areca, LK Residence, LK Empress. They are all girl friendly. Look up those hotels on the lodging web sites like Trip Advisor and you'll see what's out there.

Funny. The fake boobs and tats though are out of control. I hate what these pretty girls are doing their bodies, turning them into a graffiti wall. A couple of small tasteful tats is one thing. After awhile her cartoonish curves need something more, so she gets a tattoo. . . And then another and another. At the point she's crossed the line of no return and there's no way she's ever going to look like she did fresh off the bus. Lip implants? Freaky hair color and style? Might as well. In for a penny, in for a pound. It's like joining the French Foreign Legion after high school. Even a few years living that life will age a person fast.
