I think Bangkok will be better in a lot of regards.

Apart from the luxury soapies like La Belle and Maria, you can easily score some stunners on thaisideline or fiwfans.

Hello guys, so finally I am visiting Thailand. I am quite familiar with the scenarios and have read various blogs and sex guides, however some seems outdated or date for quite years ago.

So I need fresh perspective. I also asked a friend of mine who recently visited, but some doubts still remains.

I have worked and visited Thailand since 1970 and am 81 years old. (Yes, old enough to know better but too young to stop.).

For a first-time visitor with only a week of free time, in my opinion, Bangkok is hands-down a better place to spend it.

Aside from a polluted beach, there is nothing Pattaya has that you can't experience in BKK.

While "charm" is not something they have in common, both have similar mongering experiences available. Both have go-go bars, blow job bars, massage joints, "street meat", online talent, etc. That said, in my "OPINION", the quality and quantity of service providers is hands-down better in BKK. For instance, the number of "stunners" in BKK probably outnumbers the number in Pattaya by at least 5-1. (Just my opinion). In fact, one Issan damsel said that she planned to work in Pattaya because she wasn't pretty enough for BKK. Think of Second City TV or "not ready for prime time".

If you plan to spend some of your time outside of mongering, Bangkok has hundreds of more things to do and see. Museums, art galleries, zoo, what is, river cruises, lots of day trip offerings, shopping alternatives, restaurant establishments, ad. Infin.

I would suggest you look for a hotel in the lower Sukhumvit area (Soi 2-23). Make sure it is guest friendly if you plan to bring your new found "love of your life" back to your room. Ha ha ha.

Got six or seven days of staying wish to experience as much as possible. As one who has worked and visited Thailand since 1970, I would recommend just spending your free week in Bangkok. Find a hotel in the lower Sukhumvit area (Sois 2-19). There is definitely a difference between the two cities, the main one being Pattaya has a nice polluted beach. LOL Otherwise, Pattaya has nothing that BKK doesn't have. For mongering, BKK has more better-looking women available. (This isn't just my OPINION, but that of an Issan farm girl said she would be working in Pattaya because she doesn't look good enough to start in BKK. LOL) You mentioned that you wish to "experience as much as possible". If you mean outside of mongering, Bangkok offers 10 x the "experiences". From museums, restaurants, shopping, day trips, river cruises, art galleries, temples, zoo, ad. Infin.

There are exceptions to everything but unless you live there I wouldn't bother. The girls aren't obligated to do much of anything other than hang out with you. I know people who leave with the girls once their night is over but they've all established a connection over time prior to that.

As I said, exceptions to everything but if you want to get laid it wouldn't make my top 10 places. If you want to check your game or enjoy the hunt it might be ok or if you're with a group of guys. Expect a large bill for not much in return.

I assume you are landing in Bangkok. Spend 2 nights in Bangkok, 1 at Soi Cowboy and night 2 at Nana. Then take a 90 minute taxi to Pattaya. Spend 1 night in Walking Street and 2nd night at LK Metro. Decide on night 4 which city you'd rather be in for day 5 and either stay in Pattaya or head back to Bangkok. Don't forget to go to other places too like Thermae in Bangkok and Soi 6 in Pattaya.

Generally fewer girls Sun/Mon but Fri/Sat has more customers.

Best area for a complete newbie who isn't a strip club expert in his own city would be LK Metro. Girls generally more laid back and bars don't hustle non-regulars for drinks as bad. Girls are a step below Walking Street for looks though.

If this matters at all, barfines are less in Bangkok. Girl pricing is the same for both cities. Difference is nominal for someone spending only a week in Thailand with gogo bars the main source of getting girls.

Simple, visit both. Nowadays you don't have to pay for hotels far in advance and with the booking websites you can usually cancel up to a day or so in advance even if you do reserve a room. So go to one place, if / when you get bored move and go to the other place. If you don't get bored in the first place, happy days! You know the saying ' you won't miss what you don't know'.

It's not that difficult to get from Bangkok to Pattaya, like 3 hours out of your trip.

Plenty of good looking women and the stage show in entertaining (a little). My solo visit with dinner, a bottle of booze and 2-3 hours of a bikini clad girl next to me cost 20 K. I could have spent more to see if I could get more but, honestly, why bother when there are sooooo many other options at a fraction of this price. I cut my losses and left. Personally I have no use for a place like this. And adjudging by the emptiness of the place on a Friday night, I don't think many others do either.
