Paid a visit to both these places. They are close to each other. Tonnes of amazing looking girls. On a weekend, its hard to find a place to stand in these places. After only 2 months of operation, G&G restaurant on Nguyen Thai Binh street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, let more than 120 waitresses sell sex to foreigners, earning 10 billion VND.

On August 2, according to the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Staff Department, the City Police Department's Investigation Police Agency urgently arrested Hoang Anh Hao, Yu Sungho, NGO Thi Ngoc Thuy, Lee Jihyoung, Kim Ji Hoon, Kang MinCheol, Nguyen Kim Diem (Madam Yen) to investigate the act of Prostitution Brokerage.

Previously, detectives from the Criminal Police Department discovered many signs of prostitution at G&G restaurant on Nguyen Thai Binh street, District 1. This establishment opened in mid-May but had many foreign guests coming to have fun.

The restaurant is owned and directly operated and managed by Hoang Anh Hao, Yu Sungho, NGO Thi Ngoc Thuy, and Cho Kiwan. The restaurant has 30 karaoke rooms operating without a license and only serves foreign guests (mainly Koreans and Chinese).

At this location, there are 8 Korean managers, 3 Vietnamese "madams", 2 waiters and more than 120 female attendants ready to serve customers.

In order to attract customers to the restaurant to eat and have fun, the restaurant owner organized the filming of promotional clips on many different social networking platforms and introduced many attractive combos such as: "Safe place to eat and play, with female attendants dancing sexy and ready to sell sex when customers have a need, cheap prices from 2. 5 million to 4 million VND". Prostitution locations are hotels and luxury apartments with full amenities and luxury cars to pick up and drop off.

The Ho Chi Minh City Police Department directed Colonel Pham Dinh Ngoc (Head of the Criminal Police Department) to directly command the reconnaissance team to coordinate with professional units and District 1 Police to destroy this prostitution ring.

Through inspection, the Criminal Police Department discovered many documents related to the restaurant's "madam" sending 4 female attendants to sell sex at luxury apartments in Thu Duc City and Binh Thanh District, so they administratively inspected the prostitution location; at the same time, invited the relevant people to the headquarters to continue the investigation and clarification.

At the police station, Hao, Yu, and Thuy confessed that in order to increase the restaurant's revenue, the subjects directed their subordinates to allow the restaurant's female attendants to sell sex to foreigners when requested.

To avoid being monitored by the authorities, these people repeatedly held secret meetings with Korean "madams", general managers and Vietnamese "madams" to instruct them on how to operate prostitution at the restaurant.

Accordingly, when entering the restaurant, foreign guests must have their passports checked to confirm their nationality or have an acquaintance to sponsor them. Security forces must regularly check and if they discover a Vietnamese person standing in front of the restaurant, they must chase them away; at the same time, they must constantly change the location of prostitution.

The police agency said that in the 2 months of operation of the G&G restaurant, the subjects illegally profited about 10 billion VND.

I've been to HCMC a few times latest years so I thought it was about to share my experiences.

Tried little Tokyo but didn't like it due to the crazy fees they have for absolutely everything in the bars.

Been to Qui cuisine twice and like the vibe there. Also been lucky both times with picking up a local girl in the bar back to my hotel.

So last visit I went to Pasteur street to test the bars.

Had a decent time in a few bars until I went in to Rubys bar.

Pasteur Street in general is geared towards non Asians even though it's steps away from Takeshimiya. Non Asians aren't going to put up with the shit in Little Japan so they all go to the dirtier clubs around Pasteur. It's like LK Metro (Farang) vs Walking Street (Asians) in Pattaya. in the Pasteur Street area. No one goes to Pasteur Street determined to go to a particular bar. You walk around pick one of the 100's of girls outside (or inside) the bar and go with the girl you find the hottest.

I had named these two bars specifically because they were reported (and supported by their websites and photos) to target mainly non-Asian customers so inside they are like western style pubs sort of. I don't have a problem with that as I'm Asian Canadian but the one report I read was that there is a bar fine for take out while another one said no. So I just wanted to confirm, that's all.

Are they like Little Japan? Not sure what you mean by that. Little Japan bars are bars where you go in and sit ACROSS the bar from the girl. In more than half of them if you want the girl on your side of the bar you pay extra. Everything has to be negotiated so you don't run up a super high bill when you think you're just getting a drink and a couple for the girl who is standing with you. Many even charge you for just sitting at the bar (ie. entrance fee) or if you text a girl and ask if she's working (ie. "infatuation fee"). For the most part all that happens for a new customer who hasn't proven his worth yet in Little Japan are maybe girls a quick grope, DFK from some, and having your arms around them. Most of these bars have karaoke rooms. Maybe more happens up there but certainly didn't for the girls I went to karaoke rom with. It's for Japanese and Korean who expect nothing for the $100 USD they're going to quickly drop in a bar there.

Pasteur bars have no stupid extra fees here and there. Buy a girl a drink and most of the time you get DFK, lap dancing, girl topless, mutual groping, and whatever you want to do. Like a PP bar or a gogo bar in Pattaya. Take out? How many weeks are you in HCM again?

Keep in mind there are horror stories on here that guys who supposedly only spent a little bit rack up 14 million dong bills in Pasteur Street bars. I've easily had over 100 visits and never had an issue but keep in mind I'm very experienced at bar scenes. You're in the wrong city for picking up girls at bars on a 3 day stay. Not saying it can't happen but if your mind set is you're going to walk into a bar and bang that girl you just met that night, you're only fooling yourself.

I didn't realize these girls in Little Tokyo went out with customers. A friend told me he took a girl home, but wasn't able to have sex with her, just held hands with her and had blueballs while sleeping. So I figured I'd give it a try as well.

Pasteur Street bars were eerily quiet last night (Wednesday). Very odd since there were a crazy amount of girls on Monday and Tuesday night. Since Pasteur wasn't cutting it on this night I decided to head up to Little Japan even though I know there is little to no value. As I was on my way there I messaged 4 of my girls. 2 have quit, 1 wasn't working, and 1 still hasn't replied. Guess that means I can walk around freely looking for a new girl. NOPE! Again confirmed no sitting fees. Problem was once I got in to the bar she popped on the other side of the bar and this is always a bad sign. I embarked on a journey to Ho Chi Minh City with a group of friends, specifically for indulging in some entertainment. Over three nights and four days, it was an adventure filled with excitement. We checked into a luxurious 4-star, 4-bed penthouse in District 1, conveniently located next to Takashimaya. One of my 'companions' flew in from Bali via Seeking and accompanied me throughout the trip.
