In my limited experience, soaplands will always give you FS for whatever price paid, no matter if you paid 18 k (cheap) or 90 k (too much) to enter. Yoshiwara is weird and separates it into two separate fees, a bathing fee (the shop) and a service fee (the girl) - so you might see a sign that says 22 k or 44 k but suddenly with service and gaijin tax it balloons to some stupid number.

Yoshiwara is too expensive even by Japan standards. It is the Ginza of soaplands. I've poked my head in them with a friend out of curiosity since it is a historical site, but would not recommend.

Hi, it is best not to follow the Nigerian touts, specifically those in Kabukicho at Shinjuku. They have a long history for drugging lone customers in bars and then robbing them. The US Embassy repeatedly warns about them. They are opportunistic and know how to hide their crimes, they lead people to second-rate titty bars, most that Japanese would not visit. There are English speaking information shops in Kabukicho you can walk in. After 20 years I only use information shops because they are legit and directories of shops in the area.
