Forcing $12-18 drinks on you ever 2 minutes. Hotel now charges a ridiculous $40 fee to use the rooms. Club entrance fee on Friday / Saturday is now $6.

HK is super expensive now. There are tons of ugly girls inside, but there are also a lot of hot ones. It's still the best place in town especially since Chicago is a dump and adelitas is closed.

You can have a good time, but it's super expensive now compared to past times.

No need for Pesos for one night. For those who would want to stay for a week or so, then Pesos make sense, specially currently. The reason is this. The exchange rate right now is 1 American dollar for 18.60 Mexican pesos. However all businesses, restaurants, bars etc. Will exchange one American dollar for 16 Mexican pesos. So if you spend 500 pesos on a meal with friends, then you pay about $32 instead of $27 if you use USD. Some guys spend hundreds of USD in the bars so it adds up.

You don't need pesos. Dollars are fine.

Just got dropped off at Hong Kong and it'll all be super obvious from there. You can look at some of the other bars but HK is the crown jewel.

There's nothing else to know, really.

Oh, maybe 2 things. 1. Be ready to walk if a girl quotes you above 140 and won't come down (you can get lower even. Your call). And 2. Agree what's included before you go upstairs with girl. Too many guys learned the hard way when a girl says "oh you wanted 2 positions? That's an extra 20 dollars" or some such nonsense. Be explicit and clear. Nowhere did I say it was legal in the US or SD for that matter I just pointed out how easy it is to find. Now do you run a risk of going to jail, yes but if you look at how open it is in some neighborhoods or you have half a brain and can use the internet the only people getting caught must be the dumbest people on earth. In fact I wish somehow we could know the number of guys in SD that pay for sex Mon-Thurs compared to how many guys from SD go to Tijuana to pay for sex. I would imagine more guys stay in SD.

I took a wingman to a hot pot dinner then he took me to a small bar in Anaheim. There was a pool table, a few guys drank and smoked casually, played pool. $3 draft beers. The place felt like a hang out for blue-collar guys. There should be a few more small, low-key bars with girls to entertain guys.

Only 1 male bar tender. The female waitress was Caucasian, mid to late 20's, attractive and pleasant, smiling, acting like a sweetheart to the guys. Wingman told me she would screw regular customers in the small room behind the bar, $100-150, depending how well she knew the guy.

There should be similar bars in San Diego. Ask your player friends.

I'm not sure how you can live in SD and not know how easy it is to find sex without even going to Tijuana. Just do a search for open prostitution in San Diego or go on different web sites to easily see girls that are obviously selling sex. Not to mention the numerous massage joints. Just last week they had a bust of girls being trafficked for Comic Con. I didn't read the details but to think that HK is only feeding those that can't pay for sex in the US is ridiculous.

HKs biggest value is the amount of attractive girls and the ability to relax and party with the girls or just go quickly. Where in the US doesn't have this type of venue for the general public. And yes it's much more affordable than the US for the same quality girls although some of you claim the gap is not as wide as before but I can't comment on that.

Prostitution in Mexico will exist in one form or another because it is legal. However, many Mexicans have felt that the ZN is a blight on Tijuana's reputation and it would not surprise me if eventual crackdowns caused things to move elsewhere. Will it happen? Who knows? But I will not be shocked if it does. Guys tend to wildly overestimate the importance of themselves, and the economic benefit to Tijuana of the Zona Norte. Usually, IMO, because that's the only part of Tijuana they see.
