Posts: 338Hi, next month I will be in Luanda. Can you tell me something about the gifts in money that I can give to some regular girls between 20 and 24 years old? I am old and almost all the girls I have contacted online are really happy to meet me. Hahahaha But I don't know how to behave with them. Here are some examples:
A girl who studies and meets me in my apartment for a few hours a day for 1 week, how much could I give her in money?
A girl who stays with me for 1 week in my apartment full time, how much could I give her?
A sporadic meeting for 1 night, how much could I pay?
Thanks for clarifying.

Posts: 338I have never been to Mozambique but I studied it and spoke with many people because I wanted to go, but then I never went anymore.
Luanda until 5-6 years ago was the most expensive city in the world, even more than Tokyo, but then the Government devalued the local currency, the Kwanza, in a dizzying way, then recently it also decided to remove the Visa which was very difficult to obtain. The fact is that now Angola is no longer as expensive as before, Luanda remains a fairly expensive city, but not by much. If you go to dinner in a medium quality restaurant, you spend 20 US dollars, in Kwanza. Other Angolan cities are less expensive. Have you tried to check how much it costs to rent a 2-room apartment in Maputo on Airbnb?
Have you seen, how much more HIV is there in Mozambique compared to Angola? Do a check!!

Posts: 98This is the first time I am hearing Mozambique is more expensive than Angola which is interesting. With me (who has been to neither) it seems Angola has better looking women while Mozambique (at least Maputo) has more things to do and more options (and cheaper) with accommodations. Very curious to why you pick Angola over Mozambique.

Posts: 338Without a doubt Angola, Mozambique has many more problems and is more expensive. But I have never been to Mozambique.

Posts: 3385-6 years ago Luanda was the most expensive capital in the world, even more than Tokyo. But the Angolan government has greatly devalued their currency, Kwanza, and now the costs have decreased a lot, even though in Luanda there are slightly higher costs for foreigners. They take advantage of foreigners like in all places in the world. However, Luanda is a dangerous city, but if you keep a low profile, you will have no problems walking alone.

Hi guys,
I'm thinking of visiting Angola this summer. I wonder how safe Angola is? E. g. , can I walk around alone at the daytime / at night?
I'm planning to stay is Luanda. Never been to Sub-Saharan Africa.
Thanks.

Posts: 98Is the whole "Luanda being super expensive" overblown?
With Angola doing away with visas I'm strongely considering Angola for next year. However is the expensive cost of living in Luanda overblown? Because some people make it seem like its Switzerland expensive. Now I like fancy / nice restaurants and some of the prices were SLIGHTLY more expensive than Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and South Africa (African countries I been to) but less expensive than USA.
Tinder. I played with tinder and got good matches.

Angola dropped Visa requirements for most western nations. Exciting news. Loads of Morena's to fuck. Muito bem.

Revolut offers 726 Kwanza to the Euro as of today. What does it mean? The black market rate is gone. No need for that. As it is the official rate now. With COVID and all the rest of rubbish travel restrictions gone time to dust off my Portuguese and Kizomba skills. Plus. TAAG offers good deals from Lisbon to Luanda. Ticks all of my boxes. The only drawback might be winter approaching. Travel planning shifting in high gear. Muito bem.

Posts: 92The minimum monthly wage in Angola is 30 k. Keep that in mind. So 8 k to a broke university student is still more money than working people make in a whole week. It's also very helpful to speak Portuguese. These ladies are fun, talkative, and love to flirt.

Posts: 25Yes, that's why I visited this forum. I paid 30 k for my first encounter, and felt it. Because everything is so expensive in this city, I thought it might be the norm. Reading how you fellas are paying less than 10 k is surprising, but good news. All the ladies on Tinder start out at 50 k when I ask 'how much for an hour'. I'll be offering 10 k to my next date from here out. I watched how rich dopes drove prices up in Thailand the PI, and I wouldn't want to be that guy.
