First time in a really long time my flight got in on time, infect 10 min early and that too during day light. I usually get to fly in during night with delayed flight and practically nothing opened.

Mpox: There is a health check declaring area where you will need to scan a QR code and fill out a short form with basic questions due to the rise of COVID-19's brother Mpox 2024!

Immigration: Self service auto-gate wasn't working for me and many others, ended up going to the counter. Also, make sure to fill out the customs declaration and save the QR code for express customs clearance.

SIM card: Be aware of some booths where they sell SIM card for Telekomsel and other providers. These are all authorized resellers and at a slightly higher prices. . Actual Telekomsel is at the very end of these shop / booth lineup.

Grab: Adjacent to the airport there are grab pickup points for Premium grab cars which are 100-120 thousand more than regular grab. Regular grab is just across the street and there is a bit of wait times for your car to arrive. Watch out for fake grab, meaning Bluebird and other Taxi Drivers with grab app. I wouldn't trust these sleazy bast*rds.

Classic: Checked in to classic deluxe room. Signs of renovations are very much evident. Much more cleaner and organized than before. New couches, beds and bed sheets.

Here's my review of my last visit to New Medika in February. I didn't go on my last trip in June because I didn't feel it was worthy of the long taxi ride deep into West Jakarta. Just hate the sardine layout. Wish they spread the girls out again so at least you could see if they have legs.

1) Similar thing happened to me, the civvie did a quick Google search & was shocked I was staying at Classic. I think she said prayed for my safety LOL. I think it's worth staying there for at least a couple of nights which is what I did as it's pretty convenient location-wise too.

2) Leads to my 2nd point, Classic opens at 2 although obviously the later it is the more choice. You don't need to go anywhere else for daygame if you can have a 3-some there for £25!
