Posts: 150No joiner fee, I bring a lady almost everyday hah. When I book the room on Agoda its already set to 2 people but don't think it really matters.

Posts: 368I really like S15 hotel too, the starting prices at the moment are from 3,000 baht upwards, so not budget. I paid 4,000 for an upgraded room. Rooms are very nice and every girl I've brought back has been very impressed with the room. Breakfast is included but I wasn't impressed with it too be honest. Tom Tom coffee is right next door and is open 24 hrs. It's also a good pick up spot between 4-6 am which I discovered!!

S15 is guest friendly, they have it written in their 'in-room information book', they write 'we don't charge a joiner fee'. They even have condoms in the room together with full length floor mirror and my room had kind of a love chair too! Most rooms have a walk in large shower and separate bath / tub. The girls do have to leave their ID at reception and the reception will call up to you afterwards to make sure you are not lying dead in a pool of blood before letting the girl go. I actually quite like this feature now. I wouldn't trust any of these freelancers if you did accidently leave something valuable lying around.
The only thing I find about them is, the receptionists can be quite nosey. They never say anything when you bring a girl back but (especially during the day) it's mainly female receptionists and you feel them kind of judging you. The hotel is small enough in that the receptionists remember your name. There is a lot of regular tourists / business people staying in the hotel too.
However after about 9-10 pm it always seems to be male only receptionists and the type that wink and smile when you bring someone back and pat you on the back if she is hot. My recommendation is to get in with the night receptionists when you arrive first, maybe tip them on arrival for bringing your bags in. They will remember you and look after you from that point on.
For a budget option around Nana, I'll give a shout out to Dynasty Inn which is just a stone throw from Nana Plaza. Was 1600 Baht and was basic but clean, air conditioned and had a walk in decent shower. Free water and a fridge. Bed was basic but was comfy enough. But the big selling point was, the rooms are in a separate back building (to where the reception is) accessed by a side alley leading onto Soi 4, so you don't have to walk through reception to bring someone back. Also no card needed in the lift. However I am in two minds about this now, sometimes I think the security of the reception logging your guests is maybe a good thing.
I had a girl from TF, became like a stalker for a few days after I refused to see her a 2nd time. Sending me messages every 10 minutes which got more and more aggressive. She was hot but also had a few screws loose, definitely had issues that I was not interested in listening to!

Best Comfort is close by like a 5 min walk. It's a little older hotel and free breakfast. Breakfast pretty basic though. When I show the ladies thats where I'm staying they dont mind the short walk

Posts: 6733Obvious reply is Ruamchitt upstairs. If a Thermae girl says not to you after you tell her you're staying upstairs then you know she doesn't want to go with you EVER. For the price I don't know a better option if Thermae is your target pick up spot.

I've switched over to S15 Sukhumvit now but it's not the same price range at all. Night Hotel was another recently discussed in the S15 price range.

Posts: 19I was there last week, it's great place to stay, it's new and the rooms are very nice. I liked the swimming pool a lot and breakfast is delicious, no problems receiving girls there, I called 3 escorts and they sent them up without any issue.

There are bargains to be had but you have may have to go further afield. If you want to stay in Asok area where every Tom dick and sally choose then I've had many regular places too which have gone up. For example I had some bargains in Ratchada or Ploen chit but the dynamic pricing means it can double the next day even if weekday.

Amazing deals like we used to get in the past during off seasons. It has been like this ever since the lockdown was lifted. Though I did get good deals since then, I also noticed.
It's getting more and more rare to find good deals.

Posts: 1212BKK Hotels in off season
I always spend two months in BKK and Pattaya during the slow season. This year in July and August my regular hotels in the Asoke area were fully booked or very near full and prices were 25% higher vs last year. I usually don't book hotels more than a few days in advance, but I wouldn't recommend that any more regardless of the season. With high season approaching I would suggest booking BKK hotels a bit earlier. Pattaya wasn't any different than in years past.
As an FYI I usually stay at Mercure 11, Ramada 11, Eleven Hotel, Continent Hotel, and Sukhumvit Suites. I am staying less on Soi 11 these days and more near Asoke.

Based on the replies I got from here, I have booked three hotels and I will finalize one based on their replies because The two hotels mentioned here didn't reply to my messages.
Still, thanks for your inputs.
Thank you: Mogwai and Mogwai.

Posts: 1207The new Intercontinental Hotel looks spiffy and I am sure it is a real 5-star hotel, but an indoor swimming pool in BKK is a huge negative for me, so I will not use my hotel points or free voucher nights here. Interestingly, the old Intercontinental Hotel has a rooftop pool. It is too small for the size of the hotel and as a result not near the best hotel swimming pool in BKK, but at least it is outdoor and they have an adjacent roof top pool bar so I would rather use my hotel points at the older Intercontinental Hotel despite its location which isn't that bad if you want to barhop Patpong.

The Renaissance hotel has the same indoor pool issue. It is pretty good 5-star hotel. I stayed there twice, my 1st & last time, 555, because there are better Marriot hotel choices in BKK all with very nice outdoor pools. I like to stay at both Marriot Executive apartment hotels for example.
