I think financially, it's a wash and I'm likely breaking even. Sex-wise she's pressing all the right buttons and after a long visit I was over the nightly online dramas and scatter brained 19 year olds.

It will be interesting to see if there is a long game at play but so far so good.

I've found you can bypass the bar-fine route and the young money grabbers and get return sex and long play.

Recently I have been hooking up with a girl who has a good job and her own money. She's 29, good looking, no kids so her body is still pristine and, I haven't paid for any allowances, inflated "taxi money" or fiscal "emergencies". Her only requirements are that she will not be seen going in and out of a cheap hotel for hookups with a foreigner and that I have to fit in with her work commitments. Frankly, the latter is not insignificant and organising one off dates, meals etc was a PITA. She's in my recent posts as the corporate girl.

So what has this "free" sex cost me?? I've moved out of a cheap Red Doorz to a Airbnb (+1000 p / day), I'm booking her Grab to and from work (+120 p / day). Food is a zero nett as 2000 p in groceries lasted nearly a week but she did the cooking so no restaurants or Grab Food.

The benefits?? After a lot of ground work, sex is on tap for 5 nights a week including most of the weekend that she stays here. I'm not getting any daytime infills. I was paying 2 k for two STs or one LT per day. However, this wasn't always straightforward with the usual online flakes, scammers, and misrepresentations.

Also, if the guy chooses someone half decent then she will provide savings partially offsetting the costs.

Eg, she came home from the office for lunch. 58 p for Chow King plus a Mountain Dew. Contrast that to I don't know how many huge meals I've bought when eating with the daily catch off the internet. She wants to save money. Others want to impress by spending mine.

Mine has a business with 3 employees and few side gigs online, but still, her money is chump change compared to a modest US income, therefore I don't let her pay for nothing (but sometimes she still buys stuff from her own money) and as I mentioned before, most of my expenses are the same with or without her, and some are less, because she cooks, the only problem is that the filipino cuisine compared to the rest of SEA is the most fattening and unhealthy, and in one year of living together I gained 25 lb. She doesn't like eating out, we do it rarely or when traveling.

About trying to change the filipino mindset, about how things really are in this world: I'm still working on that, making very little progress.
