We are at the tropics, worms may come, from water (not necessarily when drinking it, but in the eyes when showering, or nose, or brushing your teeth), food, etc, take many years to hatch, and cause irreversible harm.

It's cheap, and has no side effects.

I have had few TB tests done a few times for various reasons.

Last time was for a visa application. At that time the doctor told me not to have too many TB tests done because after a lot of them, you can start giving false positives.

Apparently they are that sensitive that they can detect the few antibodies you produce in response to the injections given as part of the test.

Gert them done if you really need them, just don't get tested for TB as often as you do for VD.

As the clock has just ticked over to midnight in Australia, I'd like to wish you all a great Christmas.

(Sorry, we don't have the politically correct terminology here regarding 'Happy Holidays' . We're not a religious country really. Christmas is all about friends, family and having a good time).

Anyway, a big thanks to all those who have offered others valuable advice over the past year. It really is appreciated.

We all have different desires, intentions and objectives. But we're all on the same page.

On a lighter note, I'd like to congratulate you all for being compassionate and helping out those less fortunate than yourselves over the past year.

All those bar fines, lady drinks, tips and other cash we've all dealt out, has helped to pay for a family feast, helped some poor kid that's not your responsibility, pay their electricity bill, get their nails manicured, keep Korean business owners turning a profit and the list goes on.

Without your financial help and support, these girls would be a lot worse off.

You're all champions for assisting a very worthy charity. I hope, like me, you enjoyed the ride _ Phil.

Does anybody else have this issue lately? In the past 2 weeks while on the ISG website, my antivirus constantly pops up and blocks something related to "malvertising".

I've been getting that with Norton. But it doesn't block the site, just recommends doing a scan. Close the notification and everything seems normal.

Didn't happen today.

I'm guessing there'd be many options in Manila for NYE, and I'm reading good things about Sabang Beach / Puerto Galera for beach time (with good hobby options as well). Wondering whether creek out to Boracay or Palawan is worth the effort. I have about 10 days available for this trip. Many thanks in advance.

As G mentioned, I'd probably stick to Thailand.

Boracay might be great but it can be hit and miss. Sabang will probably see you alone as all the Koreans will have swept up the talent in advance.

Having said that, NYE in any place is usually a time for celebration and anything might happen.

Oh, and Sabang doesn't really have a beach these days.
