I met up with a guy from the Pattaya site and was having a conversation with and we both came to the same conclusion. Pattaya maybe crowded and it maybe high season but those people aren't necessarily mongers. I've been in many bars gogos clubs and it's about the same amount of people in these places as there was in months past.

They are not coming in droves like they did before Covid. Many bars still doing live streams and they are making money. Desire on Soi 6 is selling plenty of drinks online right now as an example. Weekends will be busy on walking street but sadly it won't be the same ever again.

I do not know if you would count the room fee as a bar fine, because if you go to a short time motel then you would pay the same 300 or 400 for the room. I also do not pay bar fines for taking chicks out either, but I am okay with the room fee if I am fucking them on site. Besides, some chicks are going to ask for motorbike taxi money if they do not have transpo and come to your place.

I was out showing my buddy around and he was doing some shopping. I found it different how he negotiated. He would only say give me a better price instead of naming the price he was willing to pay. For me, if someone tells me 2000. I say 1000. They may say 1500, but I stay on 1000 or maybe even lower my offer to 800.

I can't believe that you just advised one guy to walk along Soi six trying to proposition the bar girls to do a short time without even buying one drink. If the guy goes and tries to do that I'm sure he will find out very quickly that he won't be welcome in most if not all of those bars. My suggestion for someone like this would be to look on Thai friendly for girls as freelancers and guess what? TThey will find out very quickly that many soi six girls are already on the APP, looking for customers after hours or when they're not working.

I have been twice. I went the first time for scuba diving. The only reason I went the second time is because some buddies were in town and wanted me to go down there with them. People just have to go to say they have been there. Then they realize they could have skipped it. I recommend Koh Samui to my non-monger and couple tourist friends.

Agreed. Its good to visit to mark it off the checklist and for non-monger and family friendly things to do. I still need to try Koh Samui, Chang Mai, and a few others that I've heard many good things about it.

No. Jomtien is for families and quiet time. Just go over there for a while to see what you are missing. It only takes 5 to 10 minutes to get there.

I assume you are speaking about freelancers on Jomtien Beach Road. I do not think they are any cheaper and there are only 2 or 3. Neither that I would touch with a 10 foot pole. You see no reports on here about Jomtien BR FL. Do not try to reinvent the wheel.

No idea on what you mean by better beach life. But if you want beach, then take the big boat at the end of Bali Hai pier to Koh Larn for 30 baht. Once there, I suggest taking a motorbike taxi to Tien Beach for 50 baht.

The beach in Jomtien is much better than Pattaya. There are some decent bars on Thappraya Road in Jomtien, and down the various sois. I suspect pricing in Jomtien is the same as most Pattaya venues.

Going to Jomtien is okay if you want to spend time daytime at a decent beach. What is difficult is staying in Jomtien and going mongering in Pattaya, since ladies usually don't want to travel to Jomtien.

I walked through there last Tuesday night. It was 3:30 am so I figured the club had already emptied out because I had never seen that few people there. I would say there were about 20 people max. There were 2 Russian chicks at the front table toward the right side. Those same Thai chicks that want 4000 in the club, will come over for 1000 before they go to that club. It has happened many times. There are more than 2 Indian discos on Walking Street.

I was there around midnight on Saturday and Sunday, on the right side there was a line of freelancers asking for 4000 baht ST (some wanted 2000 others wanted 5000), pretty laughable but apparently that's what Indian in these clubs are paying. Hmm I guess I did see 2 Russians at the very front table right next to the stage, wasn't sure at the time. Yes, I went to Boss club as well which is another indian club, as you stated there are more than 2 Indian clubs.

But the most outlandish request was a girl from Phuket allegedly here on vacation ask for 4000ST. She said girls there ask for 5000 and up. And guys have given her 10000 or more a night. By my standards she is not even a top the beauty mountain and definitely not to Asian or this boards beauty standards. I showed her prices girls asked me for and said she can't wait to go back to Phuket and countered with 2500. LOL.

I had a thai WG inside Jannat (indian club) ask for 5000 ST and 8000 LT, with no bareback blowjob. Everything must be condom so I laughed my ass off. There are freelancers all the way up to the north, but the majority of them is standing somewhere between Walking Street and Central Festival.

Stealing is not common, and in most hotels the girl has to give her ID to the front desk. But it never hurts to check your belongings before she leaves, and to keep stuff like laptops, camera's, and credit cards in the safe in your room. Some guys even put their phone and wallet in the safe, but personally I've never done that.

Should I avoid hotels whose lobby is not staffed 24 x7?

Generally speaking: no, just be more careful with whom you take to your room. But since it's your first time in Pattaya: yes, you will feel more secure. And I think at least 95% of the hotel lobbies are staffed 24/7 anyway.
