This is a bunch of little bars with some girls sitting outside waiting for customers to pass by. I am sure there are some more girls inside. Never been here but know where it is. Far away and not so easy to get to. Being a white guy walking to get there everyone will know why I am there which is super awkward and being alone in such a secluded location where anything can happen is a no-no for me. Also, any money saved will be spent on transportation getting there and back to my hotel. I assume most the girls will not be interested in me like the rail road tracks. I assume foreign Asian guys will have a higher success rate but not sure how much better. Maybe next year I will check it out if I get bored and find a wingman for this location.

From the sounds of it this is all in your head. You mentioned the IO was neutral. Neutral means he / she doesn't give a crap why you're entering Indonesia. Vacation is the simplest answer. If and only if he asks what you plan on doing make something up like you're a food vlogger and you like Indonesian cuisine (maybe learn the names of the most popular dishes if you're paranoid). Tons of BS answers you can make up on the spot only if needed.

You mentioned no tourism in Indonesia? Bali is one of the most popular beach cities in the world. The IO doesn't know if you're only in Jakarta for 1 night then leaving for Bali the next morning.

I've never heard of a single person having issues entering Indonesia. It's not Thailand.

I've traveled to many places and have never faced any visa rejections so far in my case.

There is a reason for my concern, though which the western folks won't understand. Immigration officers tend to scrutinize certain Asian passport holders traveling solo because some try to migrate illegally for work. I travel there from the UK so it doesn't really matter for me but it makes me a bit nervous and wanted to know how others handle the tourism part in a city with no tourism. I don't want to get delayed at immigration in a country where language is a huge barrier and they dig all the details about my current and previous visits. Maybe I should say it commonly as Vacation instead of tourism like Gabacho suggested.
