I attended The Asian Artist Awards Show at Bangkok's Impact Exhibition Hall with my girlfriend two nights ago. The place was packed with mostly screaming teenage and 20-something Asian girls, many presumably from South Korea to see and breath the same air as their male and female Asian Pop Super Star Idols.

I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out many of those families with "kids" as mentioned so far as victims of the crash had scheduled this trip to Bangkok to coincide with that Award show and were today returning from it.

Not only Koreans, I didn't check the names of people on board but there were probably other nationalities flying out of Thailand on a cheap flight.

For my last trip early November, flight tickets were very expensive for most companies except two. China Eastern and China Southern (550 euros cheaper, almost half the price of a Thai airways flight).

I checked which airplane these two companies were using and find out that both of them were flying the shit 737 Max on the second flight.

That alone was the red flag for me and I finally bought the Thai airways flight despite being much more expensive.

This Jeju flight is not a 737 max but it's still a 737.

I would recommand anyone to check before buying your ticket and avoid everything 737 at all cost.

There is a very good documentary available on the tragedy of the two prior crash on 737 max, explaining all the wrong doings of Boeing, I think it was on netflix but it can be found on the internet.

RIP for all the unfortunate people who died on that horrific crash in Seoul.
