Top hostess bars.

1 Loco bar.

Loco and Cherries have the same friendly owner, Jim from France. The bars have a hassle-free policy and spotless toilets. There is probably the most extensive whisky collection in a hostess bar. Jim also offers excellent French wine. The bar is now open during the daytime.

2 Cherries.

The prices are the same as in Loco Bar, but there is also an extended rum menu.

3 Honey Pot.

Honey Pot was sold recently, but it is still worth checking. It has the same friendly service as before.

4 Angry birds.

The friendly Australian / UK owner sold his other two bars and now owns only this bar. It's one of the best-run bars in Phnom Penh, with beautiful hostesses and a no-hassle policy. The famous Joker draw moved here after Honey Pot was sold. Lady drinks cost $5, draft beer $1. 50, and spirits $4. The barfine is $10 on weekdays and $15 on weekends. It's now open from 2 pm.

Be One Three Six Bar.

The bar is definitely worth a visit. It's a lovely place with a friendly atmosphere, nice girls, and a Cambodian owner.

H Pour Hub.

Pour Hub is the former Queen Girl and has a friendly owner. The girls are nice, and they often dance on the bar.

K Ponytails.

They have a lot of girls and a pool table. Lady drinks cost $4. 50 and no drink pressure; spirits are $3. 50, and promo draft beer is only $0. 75.

Been told Gastro on 130 is a bar / hub if you're looking for a hq in the area. For hotels, a short grab car away (5 minutes tops) is Mansions and also, Raffles.

If you want a 4 or 5 star hotel experience.

In case Stevie does not see your inquiry, allow me to butt in. Street 135,130, 110, and 104 are where the hostess bars are concentrated, starting from the riverside. Lux Riverside Hotel is at ground zero on St. 136, and checks the boxes you seem to want checked. Sun and Moon Hotel is also a favorite for a lot of hobbyists and is also on Street 136.

My experience of PP was not so good, perhaps because I had recently been in Laos where the girls were prettier, younger and slimmer. And cheaper. Yes, there are lots of beer bars in the centre of PP, all with plenty of girls sat outside, but the quality just isn't there. I paid $30-50 (+beer fine of $10-20) for a number of girls but none were amazing. It was very good to be able to take them back to my girl friendly hotel just round the corner. Knowing that the girl had handed her ID in to reception was reassuring. Reception always gave me a call before handing back the ID.

I'm not one for sitting in a bar talking to a girl, buying her lady drinks. The girls don't speak enough English anyway. I'd rather get straight in to the deed!

The street walkers along the Mekong came out later on and were nothing special and some were a bit aggressive.

2 nights was enough for me.

Suggestions for the best time of day or night, and best day of the week, for Love. Pretty loud there. Do the two adjacent semi-open bars / cafes see any freelancers?

Darling Darlin Lounge has some freelancers. Lady drinks around 10-15 $ . Normal beer rates around 10 $ . Ladies follow dynamic pricing model so it varies from time, day, client. Most of the ladies are there to serve clients from nearby East Asian country so will not go out with everyone. YMMV. Prices from 100 $ onwards. Some ex KTV ladies to be found here.

Someone I've never met has arbitrarily set an acceptable rate to pay for the use of someone else's body and has found it necessary and / or a useful public service announcement to say anything over that amount is insane. From now on I'll just say I pay a dollar LT and watch the market fall with me.

Actually, the poster didn't express "care" or concern how a monger spends his money. He just gave his opinion that some amounts, in his opionion, are insane. I've never criticized or defended how much someone pays for services. But if I can help another monger new to a venue, while not duty-bound, I would not hesitate to provide my experiences if solicited. I agree that some payments are "insane", but I have no concern. Ain't coming out of my wallet. LOL.

So if we say 300 USD for a month work, then guys are paying 1/6 of a monthly wage for one time sex. Theya re paying the same as for around 4 days of work for 1 sex that might not even take one hour. That is just insane.

In 2001 the US minimum wage was about $200/ week (for a 40 hour week) and the going rate for an hour of full service was $200.

Today in Cambodia, $50 for a few hours seems reasonable.

Cheap charlies can go to the $10 massage places which are all over town.

I'll be traveling in a month to Phnom Penh. I'm looking for a couple of recommendations. The first is the best club to checkout for non-pros. So amateur college girls who might be interested in normal one-night stand without paying. Just curious if there is such a place.

And then what recommendation for a place with LEGAL girls.

You might find freelancers at clubs like Heart of Darkness or Love but free one night stands are not a thing in Cambodia.

The working gals in PP are at the least de facto legal.
