Might be similar to my reasoning. My worry is less about what will happen to me and more that I become a risk to others. Right now I live in a country where STD risk is low enough pregnancy is the bigger worry. So I don't worry too much about raw sex unless in very risky situations like an orgy that doesn't require test results. I'd be more hesitant to have sex if I was risking infecting someone else and raw sex would be off the table. Which is something I enjoy back home.

Thinking if I do decide to take the risk I'll probably just grab a girl or two from a more high end place for a long time stay to get a full night of indulgence out of the way.

It won't show up in tests because they never test for it unless you ask for a specific HSV test which is a bit expensive. The regular multi-std test won't cover it because it's not really a big deal, it's not deadly and it doesn't evolve to something worse.

Amazon sells an HSV-1, HSV-2 test kit for $119.00. It's at-home blood collection and then ship to a lab (shipping label included with test kit). Results available online. Easy.

A condom while being very effective and protecting you from infections of the urinary tract is not going to protect you from herpes or genital warts which can appear on your pelvis, scrotum, anal region, etc. I would imagine the majority of dudes engaged in this hobby have contracted herpes or will at some point.

When it comes to pharmaceuticals, be it generic viagra or even prep, you can get them all at any local mom and pop pharmacist in Bangkok. You'll know it when you see it, they tend to be smaller places by the side of the road. Don't try at any of the big brand named pharmacists in the huge malls, they won't bother unless you have a prescription.

Even high end sex joints, the chicks there won't guarantee safety. It's no safer than any other chick you'll get in Thailand. Thing is you have to understand that most of these chicks will have a local boyfriend or husband, and those dudes will be sleeping around with other local chicks, and they tend to fuck raw. I realize there is inherent risk with sex workers and I do intend to practice it, but I cannot deny there is a temptation to do it raw. Are there some options that are less risky than others? Places or agencies that are better on testing and treatments? I know doing it at all is dumb but there are some options that are dumber than others.

Years ago when I was much younger I went raw with a working girl, and it was one of the best fucks I've ever had in my life.
