"Toda de la noche" was used quite liberally by the Colombianas in Costa Rica when I used to go there a lot.

I heard toda la noche alot in Mexico but when I started going to Bogota and later to Medellin I quickly picked up the word "amanecida" from the vennies. It comes from the word amanecer meaning to wake up. You may have heard "como amanecio?" in Medellin it means how do you awaken.

One thing that has changed is the Facebook girls are mostly unavailable from my experience, they are either out of the country or asking for some outrageous prices. That said the Park is still pretty good with a lot of girls. One thing I will say is that I am not a fan of Heiss Hotel. These guys are acting pretty strict with their visitor policy so be careful of this one. Last time I used Leblon hotel and had no issues. If anyones in the city and looking to meet up for a beer, let me know.

I came here two weeks ago for dental work and fun, staying at Hotel Nutibara. So far, the Cento scene is better than I expected. I start in the mid-afternoon for coffee, food, and walking about. It feels safe enough that I sometimes don't go back until around 10 pm.

My friends had taken several of them to their apartment over the last few days. Opening bids were 400 mil; they got some for 300 or 350 an hour. Some of the girls stayed longer without charge. Between the three of them, they probably took around 8-9 of those girls over four days, and it sounds like only 2 were complete duds (one wanted to leave after 15 minutes). In case it makes any difference, two guys were Chinese Canadians, and one was black; all aged 35-40 ish. One even had a 4-hour session with a Lleras girl, but I don't know if he got a good discount off the hourly rate.

Good report. Just a note here, you generally have two options with the Lleras scene.

1) Short time. This is the one hour charge. Essentially, it means you will take a girl back to your place, chat for a short period of time, and get down to business. Expect one to maybe 2 hours of time spent with the girl and 1 pop. You can chat beforehand, but she will eventually nudge you to get moving and do the business. Don't expect multiple shots and don't expect her to stick around very long after your first pop.

2) Long time - "All night", "toda la noche". This is a multi-hour session. She will generally stay all night, or maybe until way early in the morning (to get back home to kids or something. They will stay all night and sleep for a bit if you insist, though). If you let them, the girls may try to wiggle out and leave after the first pop, but I've found that most girls either don't try to leave too early or are don't argue if I request more time. The going rate for an all-night session should be double the hourly rate. If a girl says it's 400 k for an hour, then expect a quote between 700 k-1 million depending on much she thinks she can get you for. I find that most will easily negotiate down to double their short time price.

You should never be paying for a 4 hour session like you would in the US / Canada / West / Mainland Asia, unless you specifically use online escort agencies or massage parlor joints. If you want to extend time, just move from short time to long time, don't bring up an hourly rate extension.

A quick tip: never select "accept conversion" at the ATM. Always choose "decline conversion. " This morning, I saved about 35 bucks on an approx $480 withdrawal. I took out 2 million COP, and the fee for using a Davivienda ATM was 26,000 COP.

Generally, there seem to be around 50-60 girls milling about in the plaza and by the church, give or take, and some more working out of the bars on Carrera 53. As we all know, the average quality is below that of Parque Lleras but there are gems here and there, especially on busier days. Prices seem consistent at 50 mil for 30 minutes and 12 mil for one of the nearby rooms. Almost all the girls are from Venezuela. Are there any Paisas or Colombians still working in Medellin? Where does one find them?

So far, I have not been aware of any bad vibes or attitudes at my being a gringo. The main client base is older local guys, though I see small groups of foreigners here and there, including around the bench area mentioned in this thread. A fun place to people-watch outside the plaza is the open-air drinking joint on the corner of Calle 51 (the alley next to the church) and Carrera 53. Safety goes down once you exit Calle 51 and walk along Carrera 53 so I wouldn't do that after sundown. But overall, the scene seems like a safer and more relaxed version of Santa Fe in Bogota..
