While I know a lot of Thai girls / Woman can look a good bit younger than their actual age, I can't but notice how many girls on TF put their age much older on their profile than they clearly are. Like so many put down late 40's, 50's etc when they are clearly in their late 20's or 30's.

I've never seen a single profile that posted an age that was older than she actually was. Just the opposite some post ages a few years younger than they are and many post their true age.

Can you give us a few examples so we can see if we agree with you? I should also point out that my age limit is 30 so I would never see a profile with an age over 30 so you could be right.

I was in Bangkok last week for a few days on my way back from Europe. Been before but always used the bars and massage joints.

Staying at Radisson Blu on Sukhumvit. Took the advice and joined TF as a premium member about 2 weeks before and did some scouting. Basically saying that I wanted a live in tour guide. One of the things about TF is a weight and height filter so I opted for under 50 kg and under 165 cm. Which still left me with a lot of choices. The pro-style freelancers were all pretty obvious so I avoided them too.
