You can go there after 4 PM or a little earlier. Go to the restaurant Que chimba right next to the church to have a beer or dinner. The owners are gringos and speak English. You should not have problem there. There usually are a bunch of gringos hanging around and you can talk to them. You an just sit there and observe and ask the girl you like to come to your table and talk. The restaurant closes around 7 or 8 pm. It's best not be around after. Inside the plaza is fine, avoid the backside if you are not sure.

Look at the direction toward the metro from there. You will see playboy bunny sign and that is a strip club at the corner that you can go. Several doors to the right is another strip club. Both are used to gringos.

Wrong place. It's Ancora Cafe, right in the plaza. I go there for afternoon coffee and great people watching. There are about 6 tables outside and it's next to a bigger restaurant with lots of outside seating. Sometimes, if I see someone interesting, I get up or invite them over long enough to get what's app. Today, I even saw Cuba Dave at the next table for a few minutes.

Around 6 pm, it's nice to go to that place on the corner of corner of Calle 51 (the alley next to the church) and Carrera 53 (Avenida Cundinamarca). Lots of guys sitting at the tables there with a drink while the girls stand right in front. It's a hotspot for checking the girls out and sometimes when it rains, they come inside. Around that corner, I usually see plenty of younger girls Wed-Sat.

I have lived in Laureles now for almost 3 years and speak pretty good spanish. As many have said the quality of casa chicks has dropped significantly from before COVID. What's your comparison of Colombian chicas to the Thai babes? Which do you prefer generally?

If you consider civvies, Colombianas would be close to the best in the world. I have seen plenty of Miss Universe types walking around. In Rio, the number of doable garotas you would see on the streets is maybe 1%, mostly due to the aforementioned enormous weight gain. But the number of doable chicas in the streets is much higher.

Unfortunately, the working chicas I have seen in Medellin, not so good. I suspect most aged out and got booted by their husbands, leaving them penniless and desperate.

As for Thailand, its a different type of lady, very few "robust" types with a big ass and tits, and most of those are ladyboys. So, Thailand is okay as a change of pace, plus, there is generally a better work ethic.

I don't think police presence around the plaza makes a difference. Even when there are big groups of police, the girls hang around and are open to going with guys in plain view. Nobody seems to care. I did see one skanky looking girl being dragged away and handcuffed by a few police in the afternoon. But I think she tried to snatch somebody's property and got caught.

The issue that day was the large number of police in the park. Once they left for other places, things returned to normal. However, the number of ladies in the park area is tiny compared with the ladies along Avenida Carabobo.
