Last time I was in BKK, I strolled through Thaniya Roadjust to have a look, not expecting much, since everything I had read and heard suggested that westerners aren't really considered there.

Contrary to what I had learned, I was actually stopped by some mamasans, who invited me to choose one or more girls and have some fun singing and partying with them. I politely declined, knowing that these places are typically not for western guys. I was also wary of just spending money on drinks, the room, and the girls' time without it leading to what I actually visit BKK for.

However, someone told me that some of those bars do cater to westerners, and that if the girls like youand most of the time they do they may also be open to spending the night with you, either ST or LT.

I have been going to Thaniya around once a month for awhile now, as a white guy. Many (most?) of the shops accept westerners now because the Japanese have largely stopped coming (it's cheaper to fuck in Japan now than on Thaniya due to the weakening yen). The system is pretty much the same throughout the whole street: short time 3500-4000 baht, barfine (called paybar there) 800-1200 depending on negotiating skills & how much you drink. Each shop has all you can drink for 700/ hour or so. There are lady drinks but every girl I've been with there drinks like 3-4 LDs in 2 hours, so it's not a big focus / hustle there, as at most shops you're also paying a few hundred baht / hour fee for the girl to sit with you. But as usual if they sense you are a pushover they may try to get you to order shots for the shop or something. It is perfectly acceptable to ask the mama-san which girls can go short time before you choose a girl or even enter the shop. However it's not really acceptable to ask mama-san if a girl can do things like CIM, BBFS, threesome, etc. At some shops you can take the girl out immediately, but some will insist you drink for an hour or two first. There is a short-time hotel nearby.

It used to be that most westerners would balk at the 5000 thb pricetag for ST there, but that's essentially what many Gogos are trying to charge now (e. G. , 4 k ST + 1 k barfine). If you drink for 2-3 hours then take a girl ST, you are likely paying around 7-10 k all in. So it's not a cheap location. I never do LT so can't comment on that. All in all it can be worth it, as a few shops have selections of 30+ girls on Friday / Saturday nights, which is more than many Gogos and the girls tend to be younger & prettier, though suited to Japanese tastes (which is also what I prefer), and better trained like you may see at gentlemen clubs in Japan (e. Last time I was in BKK, I strolled through Thaniya Road—just to have a look, not expecting much, since everything I had read and heard suggested that westerners aren't really considered there.

Contrary to what I had learned, I was actually stopped by some mamasans, who invited me to choose one or more girls and have some fun singing and partying with them. Thanks, EverythingThai! I am definitely going to hit up those spots before I make my exit. I'm also committed to making this a yearly trip.

So, I'd figure I would kind of test the waters here about negotiating tactics with women. For example, I remember my bud telling me about this business meeting / client meeting where he was given a list of 6 things he needed to walk away with in the final agreement. His employed tactic was to create 12 bullshit requests, and add that to the 6 requests that he actually needed. After hours of "deliberation" he walked way getting the 6 things he needed to accomplish, and the other side felt like they had driven a hard bargain by defeating 12 of his "other" requests. I would have never came up with this on my own.

Now with women, I'm considering a different approach in Thermae. I'm going to offer right off the bat the high average that I hear they are asking for, from one of the one's that smiles and makes eye contact with me. Korean Ice-Queens need not apply. Anyway, my tactic is just going to be to offer that, and then start heading to the hotel. No discussion of time, or specific requests. I am then going to maintain a hard stance of only payment after, and if I don't get what I want, (not asking for anything crazy here, just boiler plate sex) "here's 500 baht for your troubles and there's the door. " Spoiler alert, I'm not the nicest guy you've ever met, haha. Anyway, I feel like this could work, and who knows, maybe it will all go off without a hitch!

I just wanted to further compare notes on tactics for getting what you want as painlessly and carefree as possible with the available talent.
