I went to so many small pharmacies recently looking for various drugs, including valium.

It's not like the old days when you could just walk in with a shopping list.

They must have tightened up the rules because the pharmacists were all very strict.

Say it ain't so, cause it's the only recourse I have for boner pills when I'm there. I can't imagine they'd change the rules so drastically in just 2 years. This is South East Asia we're talking about. There's just certain things that are done in certain ways and it never changes. Thanks for the reply. I guess it will be a good idea for me to add tablets against hsv-2 to my mongering diet too then, even though it only reduces the risk by half or a bit more, like for the most other stds. Except for hiv, which fortunately now has prophylaxis that's close to 100% effective.

if it's a small mom and pop pharmacy by the side of the road, not like the brand name ones in malls, you should be able to get whatever you want without any prescription at all.

Yeah I agree with the first part, even though it's somewhat morally wrong. I described my herpes earlier. It's rough. Wouldn't wish it on anyone.

The only way I can live with it is to take aciclovir twice a day. In Thailand that gets (relatively) expensive.

Not to all your big rollers obviously but a few dollars a week adds up over the year.

Boner pills are a very different commodity than PrEP.

I'm super old, and thinking that with little time left and almost nothing left to lose, what's wrong with picking up an std or two while living out my sexual fantasies. Thing is, as much paid fucking as I've done in all my decades, I don't think I've done nearly enough, because I haven't picked up an std yet. Doctor says, it's almost 100 percent I've gotten hpv, that's something inevitable, when I described to him my sexual history. And of course, nobody wants HIV. But if I pick up herpes, syphilis or gonorrhea along the way, especially at my age, I'll be dead in a few years anyway, so what's the big deal right? I picked up my dose of herpes in the back streets of Angeles city. I know exactly when and where I got it and who from.

Loads of medicine. I asked why he'd charged me $100 for an std test and he said 'Trust me, I've worked here for 40 years.

Just goes on the rampage inside my groin, then starts spreading throughout my body.

It destroys any joy I have for life. It's the weirdest feeling, knowing there's a virus creeping around my nerve endings.

It makes me feel like death would be preferable quite honestly.

Then it takes days of medicine to calm the symptoms down again.

So after a few years like that, I'm now taking 800 MG per day of aciclovir to keep it suppressed.

Those pills aren't cheap so that blowjob has ended up costing me a lot of money. I don't even want to work out how much.

By the way, I have a friend in England who doesn't monger but he's also got a bad problem with herpes.

And there are reddit groups who talk about how hard it is to live with it too.

Unlike HIV/AIDS, which you only live with 23/7? Afaik, HSV gives you some cold-like sores now and then. With HSV-1 being concentrated on the face, and HSV-2 on the genitalia, and most infected people not even getting those symptoms, I'm guessing the relative harmlessness of it is also part of the reason there is apparently no cure for it yet, unlike other stds, HIV excepted.
