Here is the status in the first few days of Ramadan.

1) Most of the bars are operating, many with loud music (few years ago, lot of bars used to be closed, and music was kept very low).

2) No of girls is down by almost 50% or more everywhere. But so is the no of punters. So the ratio of girls to guys is quite good.

3) Whatever girls are available, quality is not so good but you can find few 7+ ones. They get picked up quickly so make your move and don't haggle too much on price.

Broadway. Visited around 11.30 and I was the only one in the Bar. Couple of syrians came in later and some customers also but number and quality was very poor. Left after couple of drinks as situation didn't improve.

Your experience at Sarab is accurate. I fucking hate that place and they try hard to scam you. For the record, there is no entrance fee. I usually sit at the back tables and with a drink it is usually 100 which I think is fair. There is one absolute ***** there (Syrian girl who goes by the name Barbie), avoid her. However, she is very hot and the sex is good, but she can be bad news. The experience you described in the room is very non Syrian like as they are service orientated. As far as lady drinks go, they need to ask you first if you want to buy her a drink and that's if she sits next to you and you want to talk to her. Day-1:

Many thanks to Edh007 mate for recommending Al- Sarab hotel. Touched down at 11 pm and headed straight to this hotel. MO was to meet a Syrian. Checked-in. I had not booked a room beore and just called the hotel after landing. I was told 400 AED, I knew it was 300 AED but still went with the flow. Room was small but clean. So travel to Dubai in the afternoon from Doha on 22 Feb to watch the Cricket next day, India playing Pak.

Firstly, thank you to all the forum members. I've RTFF and pumped for this trip now. I'll be visiting for a week in the beginning of March.

Only there for 7-8 days so I thought I'll hit up the talked about clubs in forum (Mint, Ratsky, Moscow hotel) and the AMPS, but wanted to check if the scene changes at all during Ramadan. I imagine that maybe the pickings get slimmer so don't waste time in the clubs and start looking at indies on MR.

Met a local punter today, he gave lot of insights and some non touristy clubs will share separately.

He also told Barans have become very strict now, as there was some street fight between Irani girls sometime back and authorities got really annoyed with it. Some of the girls who were over staying were even deported back.

Baran is dead for now because the place where the Baran WG's stay at (Pearl Executive Apartments) now doesn't allow the girls to have visitors. So if you want to take a Baran girl now, you will need to take a room in that dump and the girl comes to your room. Not economical like it used to be, hence the number of Irani WG's there have migrated elsewhere or are in very low numbers. Hopefully the hotel policy changes soon.
