The ladies don't go home as quickly as the number of mongers diminish as High Season comes to a close.

And there's another factor: when ladies finally go home due to lack of customers, they tell their friends in the village how much they made during High Season, and some of their friends head for Pattaya. Arriving during Low Season.

I'm coming to Pattaya on 17 April. I did not read the Songkran warning posts before booking nonrefundable hotel. I know big mistake.

Can anyone guide how to monger without getting wet? I'm thinking if I should stay holed up in my room for a couple days with a TF girl or just suck it up and stay in Bangkok until 19 April. I was even considering walking around in raincoat but that feels like too much hassle. I understand many girls will not be working anyway.

I have been to similar venues in other parts of the world. They can be a total miss or a great turn on. In Pattaya the only place that came close to this was a massage shop that had simple curtains act as (semi-transparent) walls between different massage "rooms".

A quick search turned up Sinful House in Bangkok, a members only swinger's club. They are on Twitter. They claim to be the only swinger's club in Thailand. They also have a website. Looks like it might be an option.

There's one particular time of the year many people don't want to be in Thailand and especially in Pattaya. Songkran is a lot of fun for Thais, starts the 12th April for 3 days in all of Thailand, except for Pattaya where they extend the suffering for one week. One week of throwing water gets very annoying (the 19th April being the worst). Some tourists, visitors or whatever you like to call them like to partake but most people find it's too long.

Correct, I will always avoid Songkran. Being drenched in water all day and having strangers throw water directly in your face/eyes all week for a festival is not as “fun” as it sounds, from many mongers who have told me about it.

I also try to avoid Thailand during monsoon season. The streets can get massively flooded.

What you say is true.

However the change in number of punters is relatively bigger than change of number of girls, leading to situation that market is more favourable even if some girls go home. At least that's my experience.

I've been posted up in Pattaya during low season and during high season and I have NEVER been in a situation where I could not find an a prostitute that I found attractive enough to spend some of my STACK in order to fuck her.

Because a lot of the girls who come to Pattaya to work seasonally during the high season will be back in their home regions of Isaan or even Laos and Cambodia. Come on bro RTFF and at least do a little bit of research before you ask stupid questions.

But unless you had only planned on fucking the 1000 that left and not bothered with fucking the 30,000 that are still there, then there is nothing to worry about. Since I only fuck 1 chick at a time, in almost 20 years there has been no differnce in a high season or low season for me. That is only a gauge for business owners as to how much tourist money they stand to make. There is never a shortage of chicks for a monger.

This supposed high season coordinates with the farming. High season is when there is no farming to be done, so the farmer chicks will come into town to try their luck at tourist money. Low season starts when the chicks have to go back home to plant and just so happens there are less tourists than the previous few months. Make your way up to Esan and fuck them on the farm if the few chicks that leave is what you think is going to make or break your trip.

High season only means more tourists. If chicks come in specially for that and they are not getting any money from an uptick in monger tourists, then they take their ass back home. They can not afford to pay for a room and food when there is no money coming in.

My girlfriend gives tours and drives tourists around and even she is talking about moving back home because tourist money is scarce.

Rice planting in Isaan is in February, and it's only about a week or so long. If a bar girl is busy, she will send money so the family can hire someone to work (300 baht per day).

Rice harvest is November, only a week or so for a family farm.

Note that there may be a small deviation from these dates in other areas of Thailand.

I have never seen a major dip in the number of ladies in Pattaya due to farm duty requirements.

You bring up a valid point, the 2 months I was there during low season, I had no shortage of women coming to fuck me. I could get them to come at 3 am or 3 pm or anytime in between. Thai Friendly is amazing. That being said I have heard there are even more in the high season than in low season but prices may be higher.

I will be back again this summer for another extended stay so I will have more experience to make a better comparison.

I find the ladies are not busy as their are actually more of them in town because they know it is High Season and more opportunities for them. I have not had a problem hiring prostitutes that I consider attractive from Thai Friendly nor have the Gentleman's clubs that I frequent been empty or low on talent. Now, do I like high season in Pattaya. I do not. Because it hard to ride the Baht Bus and my favorite restaurants are pack. The streets are full on an everyday basis. But my personal preferences give me no standing to tell someone else when or when not to enjoy their vacation in Pattaya.

Avoid November through April, because that's High Season. Most ladies are very busy during High Season.

If you come during Low Season, most ladies are broke.
