Posts: 590Did it once in Mombasa, and once in Nairobi, because of the high prices for decent hotel accomodation. And to avoid any trouble because of hotel security.

Posts: 555This is true. Hypnotica is late night place. People start to come at 11 or 23, those that have made table reservation. Rest of them later. This is same for Casorina at Mwtapa.

You were near CityMall in Nyali, right? There is Swahili Beach bar, I don't know how crowded it is and on which day. Go to visit once and walk on the beach, beach is very nice near there, and you could find girls walking on the beach, I don't know how often and how pretty. Better take motobike to Big Tree. Near Citymall motobikes / tuktuks / taxis ask crazy prizes unfortunately.

Posts: 52I stopped by hypnotica and the guy at the door said it doesn't get crowded until 4 AM to 11 AM. Is this true that you would have to go out that late?
Are ABNB studio rentals safe? Any issues with renting them? Or just try to get one with reviews.
Thanks.

If you don't feel safe doing something please don't do it. Never make someone feel like you're a pussy just because you have unsafe doing something.

Posts: 40There's a 24/7 massage place on 3rd Avenue right next to Nyali City mall with BBBJ and FS available. Girls are average, but you can get photos on Whatsapp to see what they have before you head over. When you enter the location, girls will come to the room one by one so you can choose your favorite. I think they also do outcalls to hotels. The room was basic but clean, bathroom old and worn out. Service was friendly.
Check Bianca's Heaven massage and spa by Nyali Springs on Google Maps. The owner has written number for Whatsapp there. The same number works for the location by the mall.
If you have a bit of game you can find girls at the mall or around it. For some reason getting a SIM cards often gets me a number from the assistant willing to meet too

Monday, bit quiet of course, but there are people. Only other place that have people is Eagle Nest in Mwtapa, it is totally full, karaoke night.
Tuesday, there is pool party, girls twerking in the pool in bikini. I have seen it so often that it is boring to me. There are people.
Wednesday. There is Piano dancing competition first. Meaning hiphop. It is quite of interesting but only a couple of girls dancing on those dancing groups, I don't care so much seeing those boys dancing. After that is my favourite show of Hypnotica, Bikini contest. Mostly slim girls in small bikini.
Thursday. Twerking competition. Lot of people.
Friday. No show but lot of people.
Saturday. No show, still lot of people.
Sunday. Twerking competition again. A lot of people. I recommend Casorina Twerking competition, though.
Many people hate Hypnotica, music is so loud, you need to buy two drinks always, it is very crowded. I hated it many years, but lately I have started to like it.
There are many muzunkus with slim young gilrls like everywhere. , but this is still more African place, more local people. You can find girls from here, but there are better places like Big Tree, Safari Inn and Casourina.
If you are living near Citimall (original writer) then definetely start to go to Hypnotica, you can go there first before going anywhere. Or, you can go there after you visited some other place. Some people stay there until 7 or 8 or 9 or 10 in the morning, what I have heard.
I usually go to Hypnotica, drink those mandatory two beers, then I go to Casourina.

Posts: 689You need to ask which nights it gets busy. The club on top if City Mall too. You will find certain nights are good at certain clubs.

Posts: 689Indeed you are in the real 3rd World now.
I have met several Thai mongers over the years in Kenya and they arrive expecting pretty much the same thing at Thailand.
Nope. It is chalk and cheese. I am not sure why people go to one country and compare it to another. That is the mistake.
Transport, food, infrastructure, hotels, restaurants, bars etc it is all a lot better in Thailand.
The only thing you would come to Kenya for over Thailand for is if you like black women or you prefer the nitty gritty of the 3rd W.
Why do you not use matatu but you use bath bus?
Hire a boda for bike off one of the guys for the day.
There is gym in Bamburi opposite side of the road to Tusky upstairs on one of the buildings. A lot of free weights and not expensive.
I eat at cafeserie as you know it will be good but it is not cheap for Kenya.
I have never ever had a problem walking around, day or night.
What beach you on? There is loads of people around at 6 pm.

Posts: 590Char Choma is a terrific BBQ restaurant. Excellent meat; I think, you can also simply buy it, without preparation in restaurant.
