Hey guys, I haven't been to sosua since 2013, I know a lot has changed and I wanted to know what are the recent safe spots to go at night with the boys. Any recommendations for both sosua and puerto plata? Debating probably going puerto plata for one night just to meet reg girls if it's worth it or not. I've been trying to catch up on this forum and it's been helpful everyone here is great and informative. Thanks in advance. Also any one have good recommendations for excursions during the day?

As far as safety is concerned, it's a moot question. Dominican Republic ranks ahead of Brazil, Mexico, Columbia and Thailand, by most Google "Lists of' safe countries to visit. (Usual travel cautions observed).

How did you decide on Sosua as the place to bring your party?

You have two sources of info on Sosua. ISG is no longer one of them. There's only two of us left here who tolerate the malcontent losers who hang around here for years attacking any positive report that shows up, and chases them off the board, as being too stupid, or too impoverished to know when they are being ripped off! LOL.

We both find it fascinating how the haters keep coming here to tell us what a "shithouse", "puta pueblo", "open air brothel", that "died" 15,10, or 5 years ago.

Contrast that with reality, the record setting crowds who come, and come back every year to party. They've never heard of ISG, and the petty pecking order of seniority of "post count" on an anonymous sex tourism blog.

The record numbers of visitors don't indicate it's a "shithoue", the puta pueblo describes the two block stroll in Sosua, where our critics post up, when they can't resist the urge to come visit!

It's not a "open air brothel". It is a freelance market where pimping is illegal, not prostitution. Pimp's are run out of town regularly.

A brothel is where the bulk of the prostitutes are provided by commercial suppliers, pimps, like those endless bars in Pattaya, with their owners, mamasan pimps, minimum drinks, bar fines, where you don't need any game, just money!

Talk about "training wheels" for grown men! More like a kiddie version of Disneyworld, where you get to buy a ticket to line up for sloppy seconds, thirds, and god knows what else. You pay the pimps there. Here you go one on one with a chica, talk is free, and.

Sometimes I think it's the lack of Lady Boys in Sosua that turns them off of Sosua, but who knows?

But back to your trip to Sosua, you'd be better concentrating your limited time to the Sosua / Cabarete area. It provides a nice backdrop, with great beaches, great restaurants and enough ladies for hire of all shapes, sizes, and colors of the rainbow!

But remember you can't control your "boys", once the liquor flows and the women show up, so be prepared for some differences of opinion among the group!

Best to put the destination to a vote before you go, so they don't blame you if they run into trouble. Been there, done that!

Sosua itself has not changed in the 20 years that I have been going. The only thing that has changed about Sosua is the chicks and service have gone downhill and the price has gone uphill. If you know Sosua then you already know the place is only so big and it is like asking for recent safe spots is akin to asking someone which stall you should use in the restroom. There ain't but a couple of choices anyway.

How do you plan on meeting regular chicks in Puerto Plata? I think if it was that easy, then most folks would go to Puerto Plata instead of Sosua. There is not one city on earth where regular chicks are just chilling out waiting for foreign strangers to pop out of nowhere and meet them (especially foreign strangers in groups).

No I guess I assumed there are clubs in Puerto Plata or something and people (girls traveling / tourist) from the resorts would flock there.

Let the truth be told Brazil does have some of the most beautiful looking women in the Americas. I do got one question is the time to fuck the lady guaranteed in that establishment you visited.

It does not matter the establishment. You have to beat Brazilian hoes off of you. Think of how a trainer pushes the trainee. With Brazilian hoes you are the trainee. You will be throwing in the towel telling them that you can not go anymore and to leave you alone and that they should be paying you for putting you through such a strenuous workout.

I do not know if you ever heard that Sosua is training wheels mongering and Brazil is motorcross mongering. I think most people will continue to ride on training wheels their entire lives unless somebody else takes them off and tells them they are ready to ride with 2 wheels. Wait I read your 18 days in Sosua posts before you discussed paying anywhere from 1000-4000 pesos for sex. And even gotten free sex from a village that synonymous with prostitution. Then again I never saw you post anything really negative about the women it was overwhelmingly positive experiences. Not trying to be a jerk it just took me by surprise you made that statement. Not girls scamming you. Its a very organize mongering community that resembles the older days of Sosua best days. Were girls are held accountable for a good sexual experience. Accept the truth that's being experience by visitors. Sosua offers a simple enjoyable atmosphere with a mixture of bad actors. I have not experience bad actors in Brazil.

With the recent completion oi the new Marriot Five Star Ocean Club hotel, and the new luxurious Sky Lounge Bar and Restaurant with glass elevator, along with its Caribbean beaches, and diverse international cuisine, Sosua is gradually rising to become an international destination that now offers more than a two block stroll for cheap mongers.

The level of investment and renovation is at a pace never seen before, in my 15 years here. There's live music in most bars these days, especially on the weekends.

Fast rising real estate prices are increasing to keep pace with this new demand.

Monger hotels, are stuck in a time warp, and there's a limited market. Aanvi, the experiment in a huge version of New Garden / Europa / monger accommodations has failed miserably and closed down.

Sao Paulo Brazil got y'all fyck up by a mile. Quality, Performance, places to go, options. The only thing Sosua has over Sao Paulo is simplicity, cheap cover charge and a beach. But a cheap plane flight will land you in Rio de Janeiro in less than an hour. So that's my scoop for guys that see Sosua as the only option. I am loving it here.
