I can understand a policy of having posts only in the English language, but is it really necessary to remove the name of a shop that's been provided so people can locate it on the map? Laos is still better than living in Chengdu China. Laos has many redeeming qualities. It seems if you want easy women you have to pick them up in clubs, discos, know common friends, and take them out at night before taking them home. The regular game, which takes time, money, and effort. Mongering is cheaper but overall worse results in a country like Laos. Who knows, I still managed to find some good girls but the success rate is low, and not for someone who is in and out in a few days.

Visited Lung Prabang in January. Overall I just LOVED the place. It is the 2nd largest city in Laos. And there is NOT A SINGLE TRAFFIC LIGHT! It is sooooo laid back. Stayed a few kilometers from the Night Market and walked there every night for dinner. Enjoyed people watching and visiting with the "corn lady". Tried several food stalls. All decent.

Tried Nana Spa and thought it was a mistake. Girl took me into a curtained off section on MAIN FLOOR which seemed less intimate than upstairs. (I think I read there was an upstairs.) But after I put an extra 400,000 LAK /$19 USD (I think!) On the massage table next to me things went in the right direction. Ended up with a very nice hand job with her tongue flicking my nipples. Received my renewed Laos visa and passport for another 30 days, now extended until April 5, 2025.

Still here in LP awaiting my package before I return to Vientiane.

Interesting story, met a Swiss bike-packer who rode his bicycle from Switzerland to LP, entered on a visa-free exemption. He asked the visa official but was denied an extension, told if you wanted to stay longer than the visa-free exemption days you must apply for a visa before entering, they do not allow you to extend your visa-exemption. So the guy needed to leave Laos within 3 days or face a fine or about 100,000 or 200,000 kip per day.

Good to know for the future.

LP report -.

Took the riving crossing ferry across the Mekong to check out that Pepsi bar that shows up on the google maps as an erotic massage parlor. It is dead, an abandoned area with some Lao men playing their version of Palenque. Watched for a bit, used a translator to ask them where are the bar with girls, they pointed me down the road. Road around on a bicycle, looking for places with loud music, found a bar situated in back of the street businesses, unfortunately there was not much in terms of female waitresses or much of a bar at all, just a few tables.

Went back to the ferry and crossed the Mekong, got some dragon fruit drinks, legit massage for 100,000 at Nana Spa.

Returned to the Massage parlors new Pistoche pool and SK Veterinary services, found a really skinny and beautiful girl, 20 minutes at 600,000 kip, and that ended an eventful day.

Submitted renewal for Lao 30 day visa, paid 650,000 kip, pick up passport tomorrow.
