But it still illustrates that apparently, back in the day Thai chicks would scam money out of their idiot farang husbands. Now, I personally find that very hard to believe, because bad things don't happen in Thailand. And I've been hanging out here in the forums for a good number of years now and I've seen ZERO reports from anyone about being cheated out of property, business or land by any Thai woman. It's anecdotal at best. Thai women are simply too nice to try to screw us over.

It's an hour long, but highly informative. It does make me think. I had no idea you could visit prisoners there just for the heck of it. The bearded guy is actually back in the UK. A bit unfair if you ask me, shoulda just rotted in prison, but some people are just lucky I guess.

Here's the deal though. What's worse? The metaphorical prison of being the States in this shitty economy with a shitty job? Or the literal prison of being incarcerated for decades in a Thai penitentiary? One could argue that an actual prison is far worse than a metaphorical one, but the actual prison is in Thailand though. And I've always argued that anything in Thailand is better than something here in the States.

And as you can all see from this documentary, it's still warm, plenty of sunshine. Still in Thailand. I think it might be better. I don't know, I just don't know. Who really are the lucky ones then? Us, trapped here in our shitty lives? Or the farangs in Thai prisons waiting out their life sentences, or their death sentences, but in beautiful Thailand? You decide.

Look at around 35:42, these people are literal tourists, visiting the farang prisoners for fun. Just to say Hi or give moral support or whatever. I mean, it's mental. But kinda cool too. Look, if you feel like shit about your life, then visiting prisoners in Thailand can really give you a perspective shift right? That maybe. Just maybe. Maybe your life isn't that bad after all. What do you guys think?
