That is a good point. I think if the women right out of the gate wanted to date foreign men, it probably would be for money. We went to a YMCA type place to watch basketball, and I was impressed with how the Colombian boys carried themselves. They were skilled, well behaved, and humble. My gal's daughter and her friend let their hormones show, and were doing the female giggling thing when cute boys are around and I made them tell me who they liked.

My gal's daughter liked a guy with the number one on his Jersey, and the poor kid had a terrible game. I told her that the coach was going to take that #1 Jersey away and give him #99, and she needed to date a man with a better outside shot.

At that age or even two years from now, why would you any woman look to foreign men? It is when the boys knock up women and have to become men and providers that the character issues surface. Given their circumstances, it is really hard for many Colombian men to provide.

Hello- With all due respect you can't tell me what I know.

I can tell you that do not know the motivation of every woman on seeking. In a FOMO world, it is a lot easier to look at the fees they charge and say the women on there are no different than anyone else. When you make a comment about women on that site, you are saying you do not need to do any of the shit testing whether she is a hooker or not, you just know.

In reality, I had one woman I met off seeking show up at a hotel with fluorescent orange short shorts, and the manager had a near seizure and demanded that I pay a guest fee. If you cannot pass the hooker shit test of a hotel manager, then can you imagine the eye rolls I would get with my friends if I said this was my GF?

Of the dozens of women I met off seeking in Colombia, there were three that could have withstood the shit testing onslaught. In contrast to Ms. Orange Shorts, the girl next door type I mentioned came to my hotel once, and the manager personally escorted her to my door and presented her to me like you would royalty and told me how lucky I was to have such a charming and intelligent girl.

It is one thing to say she is a hooker here. It is another to say it in the real world with someone like her who is that sweet, nice, and upbeat, everyone wishes she was their sister or daughter. If you called her a hooker in real life, everyone would look at you and think or say, "And WTF is YOUR problem, pal? ".

Of those three women, the one thing they all had in common was being screwed over by Colombian men. So when you made the comment, there are plenty of Colombian men, that is what I reacted to. They were not on seeking because of the money, although having a BF with money would not hurt, but because they did not want to date Colombian men.

Awesome advice and post! Thank you! Colombia is truly amazing. Is it really true that ALL Colombia women go down hill at a certain point. I mean there is Sophia Vergara, afterall. Normally I wouldn't be going after a 35 year old, but if she looks like her pics, my god is she gorgeous!

I know what you mean, and it is going to be a problem for many women later on. I met my gal when she was 32 and she has one of those crazy metabolisms such that she will never be fat. Her mother is still thin and a looker. We hung out with a lawyer friend of hers who is in her 50's and moves like she is in her 20's.

When we saw Shakira, what shocked me was she would do these crazy hard dance routines and would not take a break. I was like, why are you not breathing hard? Why are you not sweating? She was a fucking machine on stage and she is pushing 50 I think.

Even though she looks good now, I can see my gal's daughter and many of her classmates struggling later to stay fit and trim. She has this group of like nine other friends, and there are three of the ten that will probably always be thin. They tend to be high anxiety types that need to work out 2 hours in the gym a day to feel normal. One is a swimmer and the other two are dancers, and they love to swim or dance.

I am sure there are exceptions but in my experience if a woman can make it through her 20's and still look good, they will keep their looks.

There is a lot of comments about the crime in Medellin and how unsafe the city can be but there is a good side to all that crime. If Medellin was as safe as Thailand, the city would be swamped with foreigners. If you think it is bad now with the number of visitors to Medellin, wait until you see the numbers when Medellin is actually a safe city. At that point, you would be yearning for the "good old days" when Medellin was considered unsafe. Medellin is only 3 hours away from Florida. If people had little fear about the crime in Medellin, there would be more mongers coming to Medellin and the supply and demand factors would cause the prices to go even higher for the girls and they would be more popular.

So, be careful what you wish for!

I spent some time reading many of the comments here to travel better informed. I'll be sharing a bit about my adventure in Medelland: a friend and coworker gave me the contact of someone who will introduce me to a college girl, and I'll be paying $150 for an overnight stay.

I think you took me too literally when I said Colombian men are everywhere. I have been to Medellin 16 times in the last 2. 5 years. I have an friend there and she tells me that she won't date anyone guy in her barrio. The way she describes where she lives are lots of instances of sexual harassment.

I do not think you get who those single Colombian men are. My gal has a very negative view of Colombian macho men as most of them are. I remember in Argentina once they had a power shortage after they put price controls on electricity. The government responded by being offended that the country was without power. How dare you say we have no electricity? The government then changed the time period to one that was in more in line with when the sun was shining most. It was like a 2 hour switch.

That is how I envision Colombian men. They go back to their wife / GF with cum stains on their pants, lipstick on their mouth, smelling like cheap perfume, and saying to their wives / GFs, why would you think I am cheating on you? How dare you!

One girl I dated actually became friends with her half sister. Can you imagine that in the USA? Your dad is fucking another woman and you become friends with the half-sibling? I guess it is a thing there.

The father of my current gal was fucking three other women when married. One of them even called his wife and told her she was going to steal him. She had enough and finally divorced him.

My gal's baby daddy beat the hell out of her when she was pregnant and even his parents know how he is. I am sure it is going to change, but most guys there get away with all this shit. American

I also know lots of choices who have kids but get no help at all from the fathers. On several occasions girls that I have Uber'ed to my Airbnb have told me that drivers were hitting on them and many of those guys were much older.

There's a lot I don't know but I know enough to get by when I am out there.

You don't want to use an Airbnb? Plenty of those that require guest to have an I. The but you can have guest. Some don't allow guest or you must register before you check in. Some allow only a certain amount of guest in a certain time frame and others guest friendly. You just have to look at their policy. I've only been using airbnb in Medellin and its worked out great.
