I think you meant prices are not as inflated as others have stated. My opinion is that prices are super variable, depending on the individual interaction happening at the specific point in time. Starting point for Lleras girls, many told me this, is $100 USD, which they interpret as $400 k Colombian pesos. Realizing $400 k is closer to $93 USD at current exchange rates, but I'm not going to tell them that.

Truly, prices are set by the girl at the moment, with the guy in question. I would see passport bros walk up to a girl, basically say "Hola", then immediately go to their phones and the translate app. The girls confirmed for me that it's always, "Wow, you're hot, how much, how long?" Which obviously IS the point of why we're there, but it does leave the girls feeling even more like a piece of meat in the butcher shop, which to them doesn't feel so good. One told me, I know I'm "puteando" and I do it with the intention of providing great service for my asking price, but the way these guys approach me, it makes me feel not great.

Again, I'm not judging, if you don't speak Spanish, what other option do you have? None, all good, I get it. I'd be more concerned about the neighborhood you have to enter to get to and then to leave their apartment. So, a big no. I prefer my own controlled environment.

Not all the girls live in suspect neighborhoods. However, when, for any reason, I have to enter a barrio that looks possibly problematic, I generally take a taxi/uber to and fro during daylight hours, which is when I visit. Nothing wrong with gents having different styles.

I personally find it entertaining to watch the reactions of business owners and other customers when an unsuspecting punter rolls into an upscale place with a downscale pro. No one bats an eye when punters pull up with roadkill. The places like oci. Mde, La Provincia, and Cafe LE Gris are less welcoming.

Any of them, it's Poblado. 50% of all couples in the restaurants are a dude with a prepaga girl. Otherwise, they would most likely not be eating in Poblado. Ok, I'm obviously exagerating percentages, but as long as you ain't taking in a street urchin, the girls will dress appropriately for a restaurant date and many who don't are smart enough to bring a jacket they can wear to go into any fancy place.
