I never was a big fan of verification process high-end American escorts use for the reasons stated, even though I somewhat understand why they do it. While it is more prevalent in high law-enforcement areas, it is pretty standard among independent escorts in the USA.

It is a screening tool to make sure the customer is not law enforcement, the same way that the customers look at her reviews, advertising mechanism and internet history to make sure she is not law enforcement.

It works, and is not nearly as big of a deal as posters make it out to be. In fact, it is the independent escorts (and very small agencies) who do screening that are left alone by USA Law enforcement. The stings involve low-priced ads where no screening is required. And references are also used instead of screening in some situation. Once you are in with Girl A, it is easier to see Girl be and Girl see.

Law enforcement in this area doesn't work the way bad TV legal dramas depict it on 8 pm shows written for family viewing.
