So this maybe a silly question or just a bad take because of how cheap the brothels are. BUT is their any strip clubs in lima? I know the brothel do shows and some girl will do dances or give you a massage, but I would like a stripclub or way lower energy brothel.

Also is their any good spa you guys recommend? The Baños Turcos PALACE in san borja is "fine" but the women are way old and a lot of them for work done. Use MultiRed ATM at Banco de La Nacion. Use your credit card for purchases as well. Traveler's checks belong to the past. Rate is stable, you can always verify with the Bank of Peru web site. Street exchange is widely available at your own risk.

Thank you. I have no clue why I didn't use ATMs there. I figured there had to be a reason, I just remember I made a concerted effort to bring cash and use Traveler's checks. Probably just a different era.

He had manipulated a calculator so to read incorrect amounts that he would hand you (I'm an accountant and immediately caught this).

Anyway, now I generally just use my debit card at the ATM to get the best exchange rate, but I remember on that trip, I used travelers checks and cash that I brought. Is there an official exchange rate that is vastly different from the street rate. Like Cuba or Venezuela? For the life of me I think there had to be a reason for me to avoid ATMs.

I realized it was 2001 when was last in Lima. I'm starting to think they didn't have many cash machines that took US cards back then.

I heard there was a lot of shopping over in Magdalena so I went looking for gift ideas or anything of interest. I didn't really find much that I wanted and out of boredom looked on google maps for a masaje. Turns out the place is full of establishments of varying facilities and staff.

Glael--just avoid. Entry level massage is 70 soles but the facilities are poor, despite their ads, and the girl wanted something like 600 soles for a topless handjob.

Karle's massage--They have a shower and decent facilities. The girl was ok. I don't know exactly what she would have done but she got totally nude and bent over when I got off the table and stepped behind her. Would she have done BBFS? Colmena at 10:30 am, low traffic, plenty of girls. Only saw one that was barely good enough. It was either her or walk to Sirenitas. She ended up giving stellar service for 40. It's fine establishment with a valet for parking if you've got the stomach to drive yourself through those "Death Race 2000" streets of Lima when Uber is so cheap I tip to the max. Inside at reception they wanted some ID, which I didn't have. Eventually a guy who spoke English really well told them he's American so don't worry about it. . .

I've been to Onsen 21 several times and I like it. I like Sauna Palace in San Borja, located in a more commercial and upscale area, best. Sauna Palace is a little more expensive but a lot better. The facilities are older, of course, Onsen21 is a fairly new establishment, but it offers better service; a better steam room, a better dry room, a better pool, a much better restaurant, and many other services such as hairdressing, manicures, pedicures, and, of course, massages. But, while at Onsen you can get a girl to take her clothes off, although for the same price you'd pay an outcall for full service, at Palace there's nothing beyond the massage, nothing at all. You go there for the sauna, not for sex.
