I am planning a trip to Frankfurt around May and the trip is exclusively for entertainment purposes and I have around 6 days in Frankfurt from the day I land. Planning to hit the FKK's around Frankfurt and was wondering if there is anything else I should add to list of to dos. Any advise and tips for a newbie to the Frankfurt scene are really appreciated, I will be visiting from US and had a long hiatus from the hobby. Thanks in advance for the tips and suggestions.

The sex industry has an ugly side, but documentaries like the DW one you linked function more like propaganda against sex work. I seen them before in the past. If I had to guess either media posts those online documentaries (and not just Deutsche Welle) to draw viewers or some of people working in those organizations are biased against sex work.

I agree, DW uploaded a so called report on the sex industry in Thailand and painted it in a very, very negative light. They definitely have some kind of agenda.

There's clearly some very exaggerated stuff in this, their editorializing is just ridiculously biased agains sex work in general, but also against us hobbyists.

I felt the same way about the RDL and good thing I wasted only a day / night there. It was super convenient to the train station as well as an easy pleasant walk along the riverfront to the Romerburg area but the RDL itself was a wasteland. Next time I'm there if ever, FKKs for sure.

The street that is straight out the front of train station that runs perpendicular isn't bad. It iruns a block over from the RLD. It has a lot restaurants. If you follow it, it goes by a small park with the euro sign. That goes to the multi story Zeil shopping center. If the Christmas markets are open, it is not a bad experience. You can totally forget about the RLD neighborhood, go to a movie and eat at some nice restaurants or get Christmas food.

It kinda depends on whether someone has figured that out. I totally understand how someone thinks it doesn't compare to Pattaya, Thailand but pussy is pussy plus there are the FKK clubs which are good. I can afford whatever at least on vacation.

Sakura isn't the same, finding Anal isn't so easy but doable. As to Palace or Mainhattan. I've had better luck at Palace, but it's so dependent on the night. They are smallish clubs and that makes it a timing / luck day. Also there are girls who offer anal and while it's technically the rear door, I have often thought, why did I pay extra for this, she's going throug the motions but making it less enjoyable for me. (I'd have been luckier if she said NO!)

Around 21.35, you get a good look at this red light area, but there's not much of an indication as to what city. I've been to the red light districts of Frankfurt, and Nuremberg of all places. So I wouldn't recognize this place. Any if you know? I'll post this question in the other German city threads. Nit that I'll be able to get back to Germany any time soon to partake in the hobby, but you never know. I got a couple years left in me, maybe if I'm crazy enough I just might visit again.

Thanks for sharing your experiencies. If not successful for you, then at least a lot of gents could learn from your mistakes.

My take:

- Staying 12 days around the Rld area? Haha! No wonder you hated it. Centrally located and practical, yes. But seedy as hell. You picked Frankfurt at its worst. Frankfurt is actually a beautiful town. If you venture out to Konstablerwache, the old town or the Zeil.

- Personally I have not bothered going to the Rld in the last 15 years. Frankfurt is all about the FKK clubs to me. So, you enjoyed Mainhattan and Dietzenbach? Why did you not check out Sharks? Oase? Palace? 12 days in Frankfurt without visiting Sharks? How is that even possible?

- With 12 days in Frankfurt as a firsttimer I would have visited the five abovementioned clubs. Maybe added World. Tried the Rld once (and laughed and told myself never again). Repeated the clubs I found best. Maybe even ventured out to the many options in the NRW.

Good advise. Frankfurt is still a great place to visit but the traps for the novice are really easy to fall into and can leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. The RLD isn't really geared for tourists in my opinion. It's a place where people who cannot afford the FKKs get their kicks for 50 EUR or less. It makes no sense for anyone to fly in to engage in that market. Also the area is so seedy with vagrants I can barely spend a few hours there let alone spend the night. It's like traveling to LA and deciding to live in Skid Row or city center in Sao Paulo

The broader issue I find myself challenged with these days is deciding on which clubs to visit. In the past 5-10 years Sharks has been the default venue for me whenever in Frankfurt. But from my recent visits I'm starting to feel an organic shift in where I feel more comfortable. Oase is creeping in to replace Sharks when comparing large clubs. And Mainhatten creeping in to replace Palace when comparing small clubs. I'm glad this is happening because frankly the management and girls in both Sharks and Palace have crappy attitudes when it comes to their customers. I hope competition in and around Frankfurt intensifies and more customers become more discerning on where and how they spend their EURs. Maybe then Clubs will feel the need to be more customer orientated. Then again who am I kidding. I read a recent report of 300 men and 150 women in sharks last weekend. While that number sounds impressive and the scene of 450+ people in a brothel must be surreal, I cannot imagine it being a comfortable visit in any way. I would have probably left feeling more stressed then when I had walked in.

Oh and one more tip. When picking clubs it's worth while checking their websites for special events, themed days, activities ect. It's these small things that nudge the vibe of a club just enough to make it more memorable that your typical day and can help schedule your week / stay in a more informed way.
