I've seen girls in Lleras as early as 10 AM on a Sunday. Super cute girl in a schoolgirl type outfit. At first I wasn't sure she was selling, but then she gave me the "hand wave" gesture, where they basically are waving at you to come over and talk to them and after a little chat, I realized oh yes, she was available. In terms of "best hours", the spot I sit in front of Lleras Town, you start to see the cars arriving with more and more girls basically after sundown. For el centro / Plaza Botero, there are girls out at 9 AM on a Monday, no worries. Catching people on their way to work. Not a huge selection, but not bad either. I like it for a 2-5 PM stint because I can roll over, sit at a table in the shaded areas, drink a cold beer and scope the selection, maybe make a lap or two around the block behind the church, see what's available. Usually there's something to choose from, but not always. This past trip quality and quantity were down on previous visits. The latest I've been out in Botero is 10 PM and truly, there was nothing much going on at that time. Even the little strip clubs down the street from Hotel Nutibara were the-e-the DEAD. So yeah, maybe stay in Botero no later than 7-8 PM is a good move. By that point Lleras will be starting to get lively and I'd head over there.

Honestly, I don't prefer plastic / enhanced girls at all, and with the supposedly high prices of La Isla, I've just never found a reason to go. It does sound like it could be a good time though, maybe just to check that box off my to-do list.

What was the cover charge and did they require you to buy a drink / bottle? What was the minimum in "consumo", if there was one?

The cover at la Isla is 50 k, girls are 600 k and a beer 40 k. There was a time, about a year ago I think when they wanted you to buy a whole table and they wouldn't even let you sit down when you were alone, sipping your beer. Luckily they changed that policy, although when you sit down at an empty table they might ask you to leave of course when they need the table for a group paying for it.

I'm sure La Isla is not for everybody, it has some downsides, mostly that it's expensive (cover, drinks, tipping the girls for lap dances and of course the 600 k room, it quickly adds up) and if you like natural, this might not be the perfect spot, since there are a lot of enhanced bodies here (which I happen to love) But the great thing here is that you can get a pretty good idea of the girl's 'energy' before taking her to the room because it's of course a strip club and they give lap dances (not all of them do though). But as others have mentioned, stay true to your safe space. Don't venture out with others until you actually know / trust them. It's better to stay safe in your bubble then to venture out care free with people you have just met.

Fortunately, by staying close to my comfort zone, not dropping my guard, I never felt unsafe one time. Colombia was fun. Definitely could see myself going back. Met a girl with a legit Visa who is coming to visit next month.
