This is my 3rd time in Pattaya, but the first time that I went to any Walking Street Go-Go's. My first impression is that it's exactly like Nana Plaza so I knew the rules immediately.

First I tried Palace. I bought a water (140) and looked but nothing seemed to my liking.

Then I went to XS. I bought a water (140) and there were many attractive girls on the stage. Too many to choose from honestly, but I chose my favorite one. I had to wait about 10 minutes for her group to get off the stage, then she sat with me along with a mandatory lady drink (250). I didn't waste any time asking her if she wanted to go to a ST hotel. I've been told on here that the price is 2-4 k, so I just guessed and offered 3 k. She told me it was 5 k and that the price of nearby room was 500. I thought that was pretty steep, but I still wanted to do it (if I had the option of doing this with that attractive of a girl in my home country, I'd do it every day so why not). Then she told me there's also a 1500 fee to the house for bar fine. I considered canceling, but I still said okay. THEN she told me I also have to buy 2 more lady drinks (500) to meet her daily quota before she can leave. At this point, I got fed up and canceled it and paid my tab (140+250=390 plus tip) and left.

It would have cost 140+250+5,000+1,500.

+250+250+500 = 7890. Call it 8000 after tip.

That's $240 which is the price of Asian massage in the USA. I'll probably go back and do it tomorrow cause why the hell not, I'm not broke. It just caught me off guard.

I also went strolling through Soi 6 around 3 pm and there was a few hotties there, but I wasn't in the mood. Soi 6 probably best value for a ST.

On my way driving to Walking Street, I noticed a lot of girls standing around on the beach side of Beach Road. Some of them pretty cute too. Despite this being my 3rd time here, it's the first time I saw that area at night.

I also went to Maggie May's, but there was nothing worth doing. One of the girls was rubbing my cock through my pants trying to convince me to pay 1300 (1000 + 300 for curtain) for a BJ, but I just didn't want to waste a nut that night.

Went to Soi 6 about 4 pm.

Barely even had to look before I found a bar with cuties. Lucky for me, the girl who handed me the menu was good looking enough for me so I didn't have to do any "hunting. ".

Cost = water (65) + lady drink (180) + room fee (400) + girl (2000) = 2645 baht ≈ $80 usd.

Great value for the money. I think I've discovered that Soi 6 is best during daylight hours.

I'm a white guy and I haven't experienced any of this "racism" because I'm not east Asian that some of you talk about on here. Not from the girls or from other guys, staff, etc. Although to be fair, I realize I'm not of Indian or African descent, so perhaps my experience wouldn't be the same if I was (or maybe it would be, I have no opinion on the topic).

The accident statistics regarding motorbikes in Thailand are horrendous. Of course, we all have our notion of what we accept as risk. If I were to start riding a motorbike in Thailand I'd rate it as dangerous for my survival as starting a meth habit at my elderly age.

I found plenty of sidewalks. Of course you have to watch your step. As for crossing the streets, that's a problem almost everywhere. However, even though I was somewhat hobbled by a mostly healed broken foot, I managed to get my 63 year old body across the street several times per day.

SOI 6 Girls are desperate to get you to buy drinks or take you up to a room above the bar for a 30 minute rushed session with limited service for $80-100 with drinks and room. Pay Attention to the actual number of girls leaving the bar and who they are leaving with. It isn't going to be you.

Been coming to Thailand for 15+ years, I have no desire to use a baht bus. It's either walking, Grab app (for the motorbikes), or motorbike taxis. Vacation time is limited and I'm not sitting in traffic with a bunch of smelly farangs in the back of a truck. Pattaya roads have massive traffic and motorbikes are the only way to avoid it. IMO.

You already know that no "ISG boycott of Pattaya" would change prices as these are coming from East Asians (and even Indians). The prices are not the problem. The lack of talent and lack of good service is the problem.

My current 2 week trip is coming to an end and I'm not sure what to make of it. I've had freelancers, bar girls, girls from discos, girls from Indian clubs, girls from Pinup / Palace / Shark but nothing sticks out as memorable for me.

For me, a boycott is not the answer. The solution is to simply become more selective with who you choose.

Regarding someone going through your pockets while you are in the shower, do you have reason to believe this happened to you or is that just a concern? When shower is separate room from massage room, I put my valuables in my pants and then carry my pants to the shower room with me.

I put it in an earlier report. My travel wallet is difficult to get money out of, unless you're taking all the money. During a massage I put my watch in the pocket with my travel wallet. After the massage my watch was laying on the shelf next to my shorts. No money was missing. With a regular wallet or money clip something probably would have disappeared.

I went out the other night with some friends and we all agreed that town is kinda quiet now. We went to the popular Heaven above even though I don't like to visit because it's always crowded. Well it was indeed quiet this time but I looked around and there weren't many lookers amongst the ladies. I'm not into paying the rates that are being asked for in gogos or even soi 6 for the most part so I went to a GC for a short time still just a 1000 baht plus 300 for the room.

Safety and security didn't appear to be an issue. At no time did I feel any undue risk. However, keep your money with you, or locked up, if you leave the massage room to shower. There are some who will go through your pockets.
