It pains me to write this review of the once great Zandaly. The news is not good. I had defaulted to other nearby Centro casas and I noticed that several of the girls had followed the same path.

I am lost. What path did the girls take and what is the problem with Zandalay? Are you saying it is over because there were no girls you liked that particular day?

Thanks for the detailed response! I did end up cancelling with them. I got an Airbnb that was guest friendly and had some good security. Not my first preference but I was feeling nervous about potential more clamp downs by the government since my trip is only planned for later this year.

It pains me to write this review of the once great Zandaly. The news is not good. Before I get into the details, I want to remind everybody that all casas have in common. They all have up and down cycles, sometimes within a single day. So I popped into Zandaly for the first time in months last week. I had defaulted to other nearby Centro casas and I noticed that several of the girls had followed the same path. The support staff were the same familiar faces. The selection of providers was small and sub standard. The barmaid / manager knows me well enough that she didn't bother asking if I liked any of the girls from the line up. I had planned to hang out at the bar and shoot the shit with her as usual but the oversize provider seated next to me started vaping. I was all done at that moment. Probably the next time I go there will be when friends from out of town visit and want to check it out. It makes me a little sad because I've been going there for more than 15 years, including during the early days of the pandemic when they were one of the last to shut down.

This is my 8th time here I believe. Most of the time the women I find here to take off their panties come from FB. I have seen a couple new ones and a couple regulars so far. The new ones are starting off asking for more than in the past, usually it's been 350 k. Every one so far, except for one, has accepted 250 k mas taxi. The one wanted 400 k mas taxi. She did look cute in her pictures but there are too many who will come for less. And sometimes I find the ones that want more, may not provide as good a service.

I was in Parque Lleras this weekend around midnight. There were tons of chicas. The starting rate there seems to be 400 k. In my limited experience for the one night, the really good looking ones were holding firm at 400 k, thinking they would get someone to pay that. Maybe they will. The rest were willing to come down to 300 k. As it has been stated here many times, the later it gets in the evening, the more willing they are to negotiate.

I visited New Life and Sexy Amigas over the past few days. I don't think the prices have changed but I'll post them anyhow. At New Life I sessioned with Ximena, a petite Paisa. 125 k for the hour plus 50 k propina for BBBJ. It was a good session. I would see her again. The BBBJ was really good.

At Sexy Amigas I sessioned with Giselle, also a Paisa, who was wonderful. She was a little bit older, she said 24 but I would guess closer to 28. A MILF for sure, but her technique and attitude were fantastic. Excellent BBBJ, again for 50 k propina. Only 45 minutes with her and I believe it was 100 k (but I also paid for a couple drinks so I'm not exactly sure). I would absolutely see her again, and I just might before I leave.

A couple of firsts on this trip. I flew in to Bogota and was through immigration in 20 minutes. I did get lucky because it backed up behind me a bit. But I don't think I've ever gotten through the Medellin line in less than an hour, and usually it's more.

Also, I ate sushi in a burrito just to say that I did. Judge me if you want. It was better than I expected.

Great report. Is there a specific FB group page where you were hunting? Where did you stay? Colombia sounds much cheaper than my usual mongering grounds other than Thailand.

Even if you booked your room for 2 people, the 1st one was not "free" like it is at Hotel Dix and other locations. $200 k is a lot for an extra guest, so I immediately guessed they were trying to clamp down on "visitas femininas".

I just WhatsApp messaged them again and this is what they responded:

First I asked if visitors were permitted, they said this: si se permiten visitas sin embargo estas no pueden tardar mas de 15 minutos de lo contrario deberas hacer pago de un px adicional el cual tiene costo de 200.000 cop. Basically any visitor is allowed for up to 15 minutes, if they stay longer than that, you must pay $200 k Colombian Pesos.

Then this:

Las personas que tarden ms de 15 minutos ya se tomar como acompaante why no visita, por lo tanto debe de pagar un pax adicional e identificar a la persona que ingresa con pasaporte en caso de extranjeros why cedula de ciudadana nacionales. If they stay longer than 15 minutes, they must be registered as a guest, essentially, and must provide passport info, if foreigners, or license for those Colombians or Venezolanas (I'm guessing because they didn't specifically say *only* Colombian IDs).

Finally, I asked if visitors are allowed to stay the night, they said, yes, of course, but have to registered as guests and you have to pay the $200 k. Por supuesto! Recuerde que la persona que usted registre es la nica persona que puede ingresar a pasar la noche con usted.

That's the latest for Nakua as of this morning.

Personally, I'd go with Hotel Dix or Hotel Torre Poblado, you get a freebie each day, as long as you reserved your room for 2 guests, and each additional is only $100 k COP $24 USD at today's exchange rate.

If you do stay there, let us know how it goes. I really did like the rooms and on my last visit in April, I stopped by to see how the hotel looks and they have added a really nice bar and restaurant on the main floor and moved the concierge desks to the right vs. Right in front. I also did really like the room.

Haven Hotel allowed one guest per day free, any additional was $125 k cop. They were good about the policy.

According to sources on the Internet, local politicians are trying to change the type of individuals who frequent the area and the authorities are putting pressure on places that provide lodging to stop having "guest friendly" arrangements. Apparently Naka Stay + Work complied with the demand. This phenomenon happens many places. Good luck finding other "guest friendly" lodging in the area.

Words mean something. As Mike said if he is not doing anything illegal. Then you post a law about minors. That has nothing to do with adults.

Right. But to answer the question as to why the authorities may be looking at your stuff going back to the US it would be to look for whatever violations they imagine you might have made. Just for fun they also look at foreigners phones, computers, etc. Coming in to the US legally, looking for who knows what.

Prior to the laws you quoted, the US had the Mann Act of 1910 that forbid crossing state lines with minors for immoral purposes. Again, don't pick minors, pretty simple.

The Mann Act was with women who are not your wife, not minors. That is the reason are. Kelly is in jail. That is why you have to be careful flying hookers around or getting on airplanes with them, because it violates that law and is considered human trafficking.

If you are a US citizen or permanent resident and you travel outside the country to have sex, you could get in trouble with the law. This is against federal law, specifically 18 USA Code 2423 and the PROTECT Act. 18 USA Code 2423 says that it is illegal to take minors across state lines or to another country for sex or any other sexual activity that is against the law. The PROTECT Act makes it easier for the US government to punish people who commit crimes related to sex tourism. This could mean going to jail for up to 30 years for doing something wrong in another country.

Everyone should know to stay away from minors for sex purposes, in the US or abroad, and in my opinion those who exploit minors deserve the punishment they get when they are caught. Truth be told, some foreign countries would punish people exploiting minors in their countries far more than the US, so those folks should be worried about spending 20 years in a foreign prison (if they survive that long) before then being prosecuted for 30 years in an American prison. Just imagine for a moment spending 20 years in a Dominica, Thai, or Colombian prison. Additionally, no one should have sex with an unwilling partner or force a person to have sex. Those are more common sense principles; I don't need laws to forbid that, my conscious would not allow it.

Naka Stay + Work, is fully committed to responsible tourism in Medelland, so in our facilities NO VISITORS OR COMPANIONS OTHER THAN THOSE REGISTERED DURING CHECK IN ARE ALLOWED. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

ALL GUESTS MUST REGISTER AT THE TIME OF CHECK IN.

I will have to cancel and look for another place if that is the case, which is a bummer! The room that I booked has an awesome private hot tub on the balcony.

What are the hours for El Centro and\or Parque Lleras?

I've picked up as late as 2 am at Parque Lleras easily, and I've heard that it's open for business as late as 4 am, what time does it "open"? If I wanted something early morning or a lunch snack, how easy would it be?

El Centro becomes dangerous after 10 pm for Gringos and I'd recommend leaving earlier, but how early would strolling be possible? Morning stroll? Lunch Stroll?

I used to go as early as 10 am to Centro. It gets better by noon with more girls arriving each hour and peaks around 4 pm - 6 pm and by 8 pm it's mostly ugly old hags and druggies and all the shops and restaurants mostly close up by then too.
