Whats happening on the town over the last few weeks.

Its no secret that angeles is dead, very dead, very few western tourists if any, Korean punters only appear at the weekend, bars with very low numbers of girls and even lower number of attractive girls but more about that later.

Hammer bar and resto (old envy) has opened, its looks cool and higher class than the other places around, giant screens adorn the wall, nice comfortable chairs for dining with multiple leather couches for relaxing, limited opening menu on for now, food and drinks crazy expensive, two small main meals and two soft drinks was just under 2,500 peso, food ok but not great, hammer bar and resto has been struggling to attract any customers since opening, my fear is unless they sort out the crazy prices this place will either be closed or bought out by Christmas.

Western oriented Bars visited.

Champagne bar, Geckos bar, masquarade bar, lollipop bar, shooters bar, mostly a few older expat customers in early nursing their beer with very few guys sitting with bar girls, mostly guys sitting alone, can't blame them as most all girls are older and plain in looks in the western bars, what does not help is very few smiles / enthusiasm from the girls, many girls just sitting around and not dancing, local beer prices 100 peso to 150 peso, lady drinks around 300 peso, short time mainly 5,000 peso.

Smaller / medium size korean oriented bars visited.

Bar nana, bar sky, avalon bar, Q bar,123 bar, gold moon bar, again very quiet for both punter numbers and girl numbers, these bars a struggling big time, a step up in quality in girls from the western bars but still mostly chubbies, oldies and below average girls in looks with probably 10% of girls ok looking (korean only girls) local beer 120 peso to 180 peso, lady drinks 350-400 peso, barfines short time mainly 6,000 peso+, one quick drink in each bar and out the door, not worth staying for the second beer in all honesty.

On to the two bigger and better korean oriented bars of red street (madonna bar and xs bar) these two bars are the only two bars where it might be possible to see the better looking girls in higher numbers, madonna bar 30 odd girls working, xs bar maybe 40-50 girls working, some girls ok looking, young and slim and some not so slim and ok looking, local beer 180-200 peso, lady drinks 350-400 peso+ , barfines 6,000+ peso, many of the better looking girls in these two bars are entertainers only, many girls are drinks only, many girls are strictly korean only.

In summing up.

After nearly 30 years of working and living near to angeles city, the time has finally come to say goodbye to angeles, in truth have not really enjoyed angeles city or the night life for few years now, the town is dead, its a mere shadow of its former past, the pollution, the poverty, the begging and lack of infustructure, the dirt and bad food, the increase in crime just gets one down in the end, the town gets more expensive by the day, the amount of girls and quality of girls is also at an all time low, yes if one is a young high spending korean then its possible to get laid by a few ok looking slim girls (no not stunners or cat walk models, just barely ok) the girls might not be the koreans 1st or 2nd choice girls as there are just so many girls that just do not barfine with anyone, but be patient and a younger korean should be able to get laid without too much problem, as for western punters (especially older westerners) that want to get laid then not easy at all if one is even a little bit fussy in ones bed partners in truth.

I have followed your posts with interest and we seem to be broadly similar in that we are not go go guys but we prefer freelancers. You give the impression there were a lot of Fls about. I found, some months ago, they were thin enough and a lot of them were last chance saloon types. Besides the top of WS, around Phillies, I did not see many during the day, no doubt due to the heat and most of the action being at night. Outside of occasional gathering, I found little on the side streets. Whenever they give outlandish prices, I just walk, no more negotiaiton /.

I am intrigued you picked up a non pro at a SM kiosk as they have to be careful about prying eyes etc. I would Laos imagine a lot of them would not be into sex tourists sexpats but life is life.

I get wha you say about food etc but halo halo and even a SM Clark trip is big for them.

Did you eat outside the malls? Thai street food is generally fine but cheap Pinoy places mess my stomach around badly. Some of the bars catering to Western food smother the stuff in grease andthat is not good either. A monger marches on his stomach.

In Angeles City I had good results at Phillies, Kokomos and surrounding streets at night. There are some shady types but if you chill awhile you will find what you are looking for. If you see something you are interested in don't let them walk by because you may never see them again. Lots of women will walk by you and if you are just sitting there watching people walk by then your prize will walk by and get away. Don't concentrate on the girls that just hang out on the corner only. Also the other streets yielded good results. I never said that there was an over abundance of good looking girls out but the nice ones are there. A lot of guys see girls walking by and think "she looks nice" but that's it. They don't act and just let her walk off and she is gone. I'm not in a rush or impatient. I take my time to cultivate leads and also get numbers to contact at a later time.

About the girls at SM Clark Mall, well there is nothing wrong with approaching a girl and getting her number for a meet up outside of her workplace. Where will the prying eyes be? I think that is a stereotype, plus they don't know who I am. I've eaten at several places outside the mall. ChowKing, Jollibee, Street BBQ a few times (a FL even bought me some street BBQ up to Phillies and shared with me), I ate at the rotisserie chicken joint on Macarthur Hwy right before you get to Jollibee, ate several times at Kokomos, ate at Phillies, ate at the airport.

More about the FL's in AC, IMO if you have time and patience you can find descent girls. Don't limit yourself to just one area, walking about and cultivating leads and numbers is worth it. Yes it's more work than just sitting in the GoGo's but I like the thrill of the hunt. I am in more control of the situation and I dictate my terms. Don't ask "how much? Make your offer first. Also I like to feel out a girls personality without the pressure of barfines, lady drinks and hustlers. The clubs are the 3rd party and middle man between you and the girl. On occasions I like to hit the club and enjoy a show of course but it's not my sole source of entertainment.

A couple years back I wanted to check out the KTV bars in Ktown.

I figured I wouldn't be very welcome so I decided to stop in earlier than they really get going on a Sat night.

And talked to the Pinay mgr, she explained all the pricing etc.

The WGs must stay until closing time but you can make a deal before then and pick them up at closing time.

The prices start at 40000 php and go up from there, I asked the max and she said "the sky's the limit" and couldn't stop giggling.

She showed me all the karaoke rooms everything, including the WGs and I was shocked, I would say most were easily over 30.

I thought OMG I don't want any of them for free, but they all had their hair done like they went to a nice salon, nice dresses etc.

I was speechless shaking my head walking out of there, I went inside a few others the layout was all exactly the same etc.
